The correct past tense for the word "blow" is "blew", NOT "blowed".

The same way as people who incorrectly wrote "bare", which should be "bear" .. in the context of "Who would bear the cost?".
Incorrect "payed", which should be correctly written as "paid" .. in the context of " I paid $100 for this shirt". It's not a rope.

Lots of other examples.

Has anyone heard of Goons? I just got invited to join them and am flying like 25 jumps to get into their corp. Apparently they have free ships and stuff.
