Do Data & Relic sites in low-sec.

wut?

You sure you were doing it right? You could probably PLEX your account doing exploration just a little bit every day. Sure, more luck based, but eventually you make a hit. Now, if you are talking high sec...

edit
*looks up* oh that looks odd, I didn't read the second page. I mean just generally out of high sec, don't matter where. Just too many people probing in high sec ever since they introduced PLEX. Low, null, j-space, whatever, you will find more/better sites for hacking. Overall, sounds like you wannna go to j-space. PvP, anomalies, stuff you listed. You could stealth in and help yourself or just find a corp to join and get full run.

I'm in it for the money

sent OP a mail about passive isk and where to find decent combat teachers.
Anyone reading this who wants similar feel free to mail me.
RvB, eve uni, faction warfare, null sec pvp corps and low sec pirate corps are all good places to look. The best combat advice often comes from the guy who just killed you if you ask nicely.
i will avoid writing a wall here so i am stopping now.

Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85

Everyone in Eve sucks at PvP.

Find yourself a project, a goal. Like "I want to raid wormholes solo" and work on it. "I want to fly a perfect skilled insert-randomT2/3-crap" is not a goal, you do not have to work for it. Learn what you have to know for your project, test the waters small, then go bigger. "Being good in PvP" can be a goal, but is not everyones favorite part of eve. PvP can also be a side effect of living in your area. Expect losses, deal with them and stay on target. After a time, you know how to do it. Maybe write a guide or something, always good to have more guides and different points of view. Then next project or expand your first.

Watch Clear skies.

Read the Eve back story; http://cdn1.eveonline.com/pdf/eve_v1.4_black.pdf

Watch combat recaps http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gvc4KljpRGI

Dr.Ogres "Lets play Eve online" series is great; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrMoHNXiCEI I liked the first one more than the second.

Play around with EFT and Evemon.

Read the old Halada's guide to mining. It is obsolete but still an interesting take.

Set goals in Eve that do not involve making ISK. Sometimes we get too wrapped up in the ISK and unintentionally limit ourselves.

Pursue some purely role playing goals.

Learn about grid fu.

Do your own v-blog of your adventures and characters in Eve.

Introduce RL people you know to the game and help them get started.

Happens all time. However i use to do pve/missions or iam a trader or transporter i even mine. Even do mining missions and so on.

I am not a pvp player because its not my style to play a game. Why joining eve online... Mmm because back in 2000 there are no space games that can co-op with players beside the are not that great what i have played back then. But eve got more jobs then only pew pew boom and thats it.

I like the trader/explorer because i like to do it alone in my time. however i do contract that bring me close to some great action between wars. This give me some great "look in" how big corps doing. Beside that you need to find you roll and thats take allot of time to find out in eve online.
