Do you think there will ever be an Alien invasion expansion?

I think that would be pretty damn cool and couldadd a whole other element to the game. Such as reversed engineered ships and weapons, and materials.

Without getting into too much detail it could add a whole element to the game. It could end up forcing rival corps to work together to protect their assets and systems from attack. while still looking over their backs.

Naturally these attacks would be more frequent on the outer edges of the Forge.

Vogon demolition fleets would be great but we already have goons for that.

We won't because EVE is about humans and exploring the full range of human behaviour. Aliens don't fit with that.

Hey! Let's put in dragons as well. Big dragons that carelessly roam around in EVE, and it takes a 250 man fleet to kill. Maybe we could add panda npcs as well and a talent tree? What about an auction house?

Connecting back with Earth through another Eve gate would be pretty interesting. But an Alien expansion would be lame. This is a game centered around human conflict.

I discourage running with scissors.

Yeah, those nigh-immortal sociopathic egg-dwelling aliens invading quiet idyll of Anoikis were gross and cheesy.

Those really aren't aliens P
The premise is close though.

I'm pretty sure I did exactly that back in the days of Master of Orion. Then giant amoeba curbstomped the remains of said dragon-hunting fleet. Sad.

Sounds good ... or perhabs the Jovians will strike back since they have enough time to recover.

Heh. True. But they're like 1000 years ahead of us in technology, so that means, big ships with big weapons.

I discourage running with scissors.

They better add something. New eden is stale. Same old systems followed up with lies of new content. I could create them one however I doubt it will do any good.
