Subscription/P.L.E.X. discounts

I assumed Amazon's discounts on subscriptions and P.L.E.X. would last into Christmas day. As is my luck, they did not. So far, Amazon and the official Eve website are the only two places I know that sell either of them. I also just learned about 'game time cards', but I haven't seen those sold anywhere as of yet.

Does CCP authorize the discounts or does Amazon? Either way, I'm assuming that there is no possible way to know when either subscriptions or P.L.E.X. will go on sale, correct?

If I ever saw CCP Falcon's character in real life I think I'd politely ask him to kick my ass just so I could brag about it.

This is correct, Amazon run their own sales. As far as I'm aware their most recent PLEX sale ended on December 25th, the same time as ours started via account management.

Kind of bummed subscriptions aren't on sale, as well, but now I feel like an idiot P But I'm pretty sure Amazon's sale for both P.L.E.X. and subscriptions ended sometime on the 24th; I kept refreshing the page on Christmas, but to no avail Sad I even put stuff in my cart, but those prices went back up to normal.

EDIT: Hell, while I have the attention of a CCP employee I might as well thank you for the awesome game. First MMO, first time I was willing to pay any sort of subscription, first time I cried during a video game (lost my Cormorant to some pirates during week 2), etc, etc...

If I ever saw CCP Falcon's character in real life I think I'd politely ask him to kick my ass just so I could brag about it.

The things people post in this forum (and the Steam forum, my God...) never cease to amaze me. Couldn't even start the damn ideo because I was laughing at the title too hard Lol But a bass? With a pick? It seems someone else needs to HTFU...

GD ( and most forum posts) follow a formula thusly;

The introduction shows Hale & Pace in an early 20th-century setting with Hale wearing an old hat and Pace wearing a monocle. Chickens, chicken feathers and a rubber chicken are being shaken around the room for some reason.

The introduction finishes zooming in on their faces, at which point they both stick out their tongues, with Hale's tongue showing "Hale" written on it and Pace's showing "Pace". The "&" is written on Pace's hand which is positioned behind them but between their two heads, therefore clearing presenting the title "Hale & Pace".

Each show finishes with a nude shot of Hale & Pace's backsides each with their name written on it (i.e. mimicking the introduction with the tongues). This became the series in which the Prisoner sketch was first shown. It proved so realistic that Lisa Blair rang up LWT asking why Val Lehman had reprised the role of Bea Smith for another one off episode.

As this thread seems relevant ...

Can somebody please explain me why anybody would waste 20 bucks for a PLEX,
if he can have TWO for almost the same price? I don't get it.

TIL that i can buy 60 day GTCs for less than 30 bucks and get two PLEX out of it ...

I just recently subscribe but I've had this character from my old trial account in 2011 and I actually went ahead and bought the Eve Online Subscription from the Eve Online website because Amazon was actually a little more expensive at the time. I did it on the 25th, but I started a new character while leaving my other character's (i guess I will consider him my MAIN) skills on a Q and I realized I'm unable to let my other character train for skills if my other character already has skills being trained unless I get PLEX for it. I think it kind of sucks but at the same time seems fair.

What do you mean?

The Amazon sale had subscriptions starting at $11.25 for 1 month and $29.13 for 3 months. I was extremely pissed this didn't run through Christmas day because that's about what I paid when I got a Starter Pack and a 3 month subscription after my trial. P.L.E.X. was also $16.95 for 1 and $29.75 for 2.

Buying 1 or 2 P.L.E.X. through Account Management now is literally one cent cheaper than they were on Amazon. I have no idea where you buy game time cards, though, nor do I know how expensive they are.
