On one hand, author is obviously pretty butthurt and the read is actually pretty entertaining. On the other hand, it's kinda hard to argue with him re: EVE community being a not-so-nice place.

When has a rating ever stopped someone from seeing /listening to /reading /owning something?


Pretty sure Playboy has a mature rating.... but guess which age demographic has them stashed between their matresses?

Why? He is stating from his experience. Nothing wrong with that. There are some very immature people in the game who think racism is funny. Heck, I have even come across players who think pedophilia is funny. So yeah, like I said, it's not like the reviewer was lying about it. And kids shouldn't be playing the game.

Its libel. Opinions and views are fine but they usually sound like "I think this" or "I think that". Libel is a written statement of fact which damages a reputation. Its usually only defensible if the statement is true or at least mostly true.

Obviously the 'review' contains quite a lot of exaggeration and some outright lies so yeah not exactly lawful to do that, or at least does open the writer up to being sued for damages / apology.
