My pets would like to have a walk...

Quite some time ago, after being obliterating an Angel Cartel base, I detected some lifesigns from one of the ejected containers. Big was my surprise when I found 2 slaver hounds inside it, terrified and with little air left. As a creatures lover, I inmediatly entered them into my ship and proceeded to take care of them; I had red slaver hounds could be dangerous but also very loyal to their masters, so I got into the task of feeding and taking care of them. Right now they're in excellent physical shape, and just love me and my crew. They always literally leap into me whenever I return home, and given their size, sometimes it's quite difficult to escape their cares.

A few days ago, one of the Yule Lads gifted me with a fedo. My hounds and I where quite puzzled and curious at the creature, watching it creep around until the stench was so intense we had to leave it be. Despite its primitive nature, it somehow recognises us, judging by the odor change whenever it meets us, and starts to look at me with such cute look I can't help but give it another meal.

But for now station security won't let me take my pets to my Captain's Quarters. Something about 'teeth' and 'stench' they use to say whenever I try, but they've proved unflexible. And my creatures are always sad whenever I have to enter my quarters.

Well, I just wanted to throw off this idea. Since some creatures can be kept as items, it would be great to be able to have them at the Captain's Quarters and interact with them. Perhaps a big room with plants, rocks and whenever they could need to feel like at home. What do you think?

I stopped reading there.

When Bon Scott died and he appeared before St. Peter at the gates of Heaven, St. Peter looked at his record and told him he couldn't get in. Just then, God screams at Peter, "Let him in, Karen Carpenter is driving me nuts. I want to hear some music with balls. We'll haggle over the paperwork later." At least I hope that's what happened.

if we can have life forms in our quarters i want a pair of slaves, a male and a female.. so they can keep my place tidy as being unable to enter station environment for in excess of a year now it has become quite a mess.

yes it's a threadonaut - but what you're asking for could/should be combined

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it WILL be.

i support it, we may never see whats beyond the door in the CQ, but at least we could give a use for the room, like a trophy room or something, it could be the equivalent to an achievement system, we could show our best special edition items, or things that we have gathered along the years. like heads in jars, pets, special edition items, those items from the anniversary.......etcetera

also - trophy room - row upon row of trophies - from that corpse you picked up outside jita 4:4 to the ship and pod kill you got after patiently stalking someone in W-space for 4 hrs, waiting for support (read bubble) to arrive

Great??

Bad Fedo, baaaaad Fedo, in the corner with you!

They never listen and he ate my couch, can you believe it? You let your pet alone in your quarters and does he do?

Well and most of my janitors are complaining about a smell they recently noticed.. Don't what that is all about but when I get there, I'll check it out.

Until then,
baaad Fedo, no couches for you! Go and eat some Minmat- errm, slaves..

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

There are janitors for this. Slaves are not reliable nor loyal unless you have hounds to watch them.

Opinions are like assholes. Everybody got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.

Thank god I had enough of (now pretty worthless) Single-crystal Superalloy I-beams left to weld a cage for my Fedo. Plus the tonns of frozen weed collected over the years should last some time to feed him. You just have to put them on a special diet, wich reduces the stenc. Also, feeding it a bag of cat litter could help ("Pets, Stations and You" Newsletter YC109/4).

All other folks seem to be quite happy in my Station Warehouse Container, so far i had no casualties.
