Do you think this will have more widespread political ramifications? My understanding is that she was not necessarily Shakor's biggest fan and thinks that technology will simply crush any military force one could bring to bear. I suppose her point was somewhat borne out when the Elder Fleet was evaporated by a Terran weapon.

I'm somewhat less learned on her more specific policies.

That concept has worked pretty well for the State, to be honest. It helped bring us from a smattering of seccessionist colonies and accompanying diaspora to one of the largest and most powerful entities in the entire cluster.

Technological superiority is not to be underestimated.

The Caldari Navy is widely recognized as supremely capable of carrying out its mandate, and technological superiority is one of the major cornerstones of its doctrine. An advancement of warfighting technology for the Republic Fleet would be a logical step in leveraging its effectiveness.

Not sure if one should write 'nepotism' with an uppercase N there or not. Just for good measure.

In any case, congratulations to New Midular for her newly appointed position. Hopefully it will bring her more than 2 weeks of fame followed by Scope losing interest and moving on to the next shiny star on the media sky.

Unless I am mistaken, she wouldn't be making those promises to a Brutor, would she? Does she not represent and act on behalf of the Sebiestor, as the Sebiestor Chief?
