We do however blame you for attempting to meta out of the game a mechanic you are too lazy or incompetent to adapt to.

EVE is a harsh world Goon, crying like a highsec pubbie just makes your entire alliance look like the griefing noobs you are.

Capitals have been nerfed twice for this very thing already.

We don't blame you for using something overpowered. Just have the honesty to admit to it.

The entire alliance is going vertical. That's hardly "too lazy to adapt".

But please tell me more about how subcap-impervious spider tanked Archon blobs with extreme damage application and perfect alpha requiring nothing in the way of support are balanced.

Well said - at least about the crying part.

"WAHHHHhhhhhhh - we have to train for new ships to counter our enemies!!! THAT IS IMBALANCED!!!

We should be able to counter them with rookie ships!!

But then the Titans will DD the rookie ships and that is imbalanced!

/tears"

Who are you and what makes you think anything you have to say on the subject is informed, insightful, or significant?

so what will happen when CFC takes over the entirety of null sec and beginning to march into high sec?

Will CCP have to pay them to disband?

I could ask the same of you. Who are you to talk about the balance of capitals? Do you even fly them in fleets with any regularity?

I doubt it.

Have you ever flown a super? Doubtful. Have you ever flown in a fleet of supers? Even more doubtful. Have you experimented with the compositions of capital fleets in general? Again, doubtful.

You're just goonpub who flies subcaps and thinks anything you don't have is OP, with little to no experience in the subjects you are talking about.

Yeah, except for all the things they aren't invincible to, like that ship you are supposed to be training for.

So capital ship fleets should only be countered by more capital ship fleets.

Oh these delicious tears.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that if two parties are clashing, both have reasonably competent FCs with solid strategies....

The side that commits 4+ trillion to the field will win versus the side that only commits 400b - outside of massive tactical or strategical errors.

We're talking about a 10x differential in commitment to the field.

Bigger isn't always better, but at a certain point you're just going to have to choke on the fact that your enemy has more assets, and is willing to commit them.

People win fights versus more expensive ships all the time, but if we're talking about a 10x differential and at the fleet level, you shouldn't really expect to be anything but handicapped.

It is a balancing factor. It's not the only one, but it is definitely a factor. Cost, and training time, have always been and always will be central aspects to balance. Is this your first time to the EVE Rodeo? Did you just buy this account from a friend?

Is an Armageddon objectively better than an Armageddon Imperial Issue? No - of course not.

Is a super carrier better than a normal carrier? Yes. And the cost and training time reflect that.

Bigger is definitely not always better, but potential power absolutely does scale with training time and isk - by design.

This obviously will not prevent people from dying stupidly in shiny ships, but that's an error of the pilot, not the ship.

If you think intelligently fitted cheap ships should perform better than intelligently fitted expensive ships - you are living in a fantasy land.

Why dont you use all those boots that mittinz wrote about last year or use your super caps.

Heck 1000 guys in geddons with sentry and nuets would put a dent in that rr chain.

There are plenty of options for slowcat counters. You guys are eother affraid to use them or lack concivtion

1000 sentry Armageddons?
Might as well declare war on the server itself at that point.

Heat does not seem to gives additionnal range so still 37.8 KM with ALL V. Unless some module can change it's range but I don't know about those.

The server is an honorable third party at this point. No need to make the war official.

Every day I'm wafflin!
