New Eden is a big universe and there are plenty of things in it to talk about. Some of the main hallmarks of EVE Online community content are blogs that cover some of this vast ocean of subjects to discuss. But despite how easy it seems to write a few words about a feature or an event that affects you as a player in some way, I assure you that all is not as it seems. Creating quality blog content requires passion, understanding, writing skill, and patience.

The Featured Fansite this time around is http://sovereigntywars.wordpress.com/. Shalee Lianne is the creator of the blog and mainly focuses on everything related to Factional Warfare (or FW for short). Hers is a unique understanding of how Factional Warfare works and how it affects the participants, as well as fun stories of battles that happen when players fight for the empires. As you will soon come to realize from reading the blog FW is more than simply flying into the systems and blowing your enemies (or your friends) up. Playing the market, doing agent missions, manufacturing, and many other aspects all come to play to be successful.

I encourage you all to head on over to Sovereigntywars and check it out. Likewise if you encounter Shalee in space or in the forums, applaud the efforts she has put into the blog as it is top notch. A like or a missile will do fine; Factional Warfare is a multi-faceted feature and, if I’m not mistaken, could always use more pilots.

There are many more Fansites that might hold exactly what you need to assist you in EVE Online or list the information you never knew you were missing. Take a look; it is almost guaranteed you will find something to your liking. Alternatively, check out the last Fansite that was featured in this thread. The featured Fansite is picked at random every two weeks to showcase the important, community driven work these content creators bring to EVE Online.

Well-deserved recognition! Shalee is just awesome, and even though it's been nearly a year since I've left FW, I still enjoy reading her blog!

Yea, Shalee gets... trolled? Ah well. Yes, Shalee is a real live girl and also a real Role Player. And a kick ass combat pilot.
