Does this AWOX-detecting tool exist ?

A tool that looks through a characters killboard history and pulls up any incident where they were involved in killing another member of their own corp. Sure, I can see a few ways an AWOXer could defeat this tool. But it still seems like it would be helpful.

Does it exist ?

You could just look at their KB. But keep in mind that some corps/alliances have sparring matches and tournaments so you might want to mail their CEO for "false flags" before completely writing them off. (I don't know if a tool has been made specifically but wanted to mention that.)

Manually looking over the killboards will be a problem if they have a lot of PvP kills vs another corp. Which is why I'd prefer to have it automated.

As for false positives, I'm aware of them being a risk. Talking to the player about flagged kills should reduce that risk.

It would be hilarious if such a tool existed, and someone who was attacked by an AWOXer but defeated them ended up being accused of AWOXing as a result.

There's always a way to talk your way out of one or two AWOX kills anyway.

'Yeah I joined this mining corp, went on an op with them, and they started spouting all sorts of anti-Semitic pro-Hitler (edit: that got censored, but it's the name of an RL tyrant) filth in Vent, so I reshipped into a combat ship and blew up the two worst ones.'

I've never had anyone disbelieve that. The fact that most clueless CEOs believe EVE is full of sociopaths can be used to make them believe the worst of people when that is exactly what you want.

If the corp you're trying to join won't believe you on those kills, are you sure they won't be too paranoid for your liking ?

Besides, the date of you or the person you killed leaving the corp is also useful in telling an AWOX from something else.

Yeah there are a fair number of operational security measures that will screen out 99% of AWOXers with very few false positives. I'm actually tempted to offer a service teaching corp recruiters opsec for ISK.

But the single best way to weed us out is to demand new recruits spend two weeks in a holding corp first. Share chat channels, share out-of-client voice communications, but don't give them the right to shoot you until they prove themselves to either be trustworthy or at least to have the patience of a saint.

The one time one of my friends went on safari, the ceo gave him a "probationary" period. If this had been out of corp, that would have been great, but they accepted him into the corp right away. Too bad rl got in the way of actually seeing some whales.

Hesod, while we are not in a position to offer such information right now (having just started) Evequifax corp is providing a service where such things can be reported so that other capsuleers will be able to make informed decisions.

Sounds like bot aspirant behavior. I hope your corp is in full compliance with the CODE.

Do all of your miners have mining permits? If not, I would be more than happy to sell them to you. 10mil/person, and they last for a whole year, pretty good deal I'd say
