I hope this crash is just me... but if not, then things are going to get pretty flame-y around here.

Do people seriously play online games expecting 100% uptime outside of scheduled restarts? Because they're idiots.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

Got me. I'm just glad I docked up before this happened.

To be fair though, with the vast majority of other mmos, you don't have anything of importance online that like you do in Eve. Server crash and you die in Guild Wars 2 on a boss? Oh well. Server crash and you die in Eve in a deadspace fit Golem right in the middle of a room full of rats? Your wallet is gonna hurt a bit.

Most MMO's have such a good uptime record that when they do go offline at random times it is a bit of a shock though.

I was also docked up as well. So no big loss here, just an inconvenience.

I'm not talking about the people who are surprised, but the people who are angry.

Good luck to all the people that do petition. I've been having issues since rubicon released and must be on the naughty list since CCP didn't respond to the petition I created after being podded while already in session change through a gate and in jump animation for several seconds.

So if anyone does have their petition answered and is reimbursed, congrats up front.

As far as I'm concerned though, CCP customer service for this sort of this is complete rubbish.

That is not a new thing, its annoying, but not new. CCP did not reimburse my implants in the past, maybe you have more luck.

Reimburse not as annoying as just being ignored. To be completely disregarded all together is the disappointing thing. Implants can be replaced easily on the market so no big issue. Respect for people though is a different matter.

About 25,000 people got kicked from the game. It would seem that if someone lost a ship or pod during the time the server was in full shock mode they should get their loss replaced or rolled back.
