I am moving into a Wormhole and the occupants, that I have made friends with, are offering to sell to my corporation their three POCOs.

I'm new to the whole POCO thing. I've never operated one.

Is it possible for one corporation to sell another corporation their existing POCO?

If so, how does that work? How do I assume control of an existing POCO?

Is this some sort of SCAM?

Thank you.

Yes, they can transfer you the POCO, and you can pay them. The issue is that there's no way to guarantee you would give them the isk, and no way to guarantee they would give you the POCOs. I'd advise to either use a trusted 3rd party (who gets given the POCOs AND the isk, then gives them back out the other way round), or at the very least bought 1 POCO at a time, so at most you got screwed out of 1 POCO.

This looks like a job for ... Chribba!

Seriously, though ... once all the dust gets settled over the big POCO splurge, eventually things will settle into a simple pattern of trading POCOs rather than fighting over them all the time. And once that happens, egads... Chribba is going to have to open a whole new branch office dedicated to just that alone.

threee pocos are really not work for Chribba. ;-) They could anyway set poco taxes 0% for you and there is no room for scam.
