More systems, stations and generally space? Non-gated systems.

I didn't know if the EVE empires and Player Corps had yet discovered all known systems in the EVE region of the Universe, but can the real-world server handle more systems in hi, low, null and WH space? Also, would there be non-WH systems out there that wouldn't necessarily have gates to them, but might be accessable by other means? (WH, cyno, etc.) Perhaps delayed local for those (as your ship would note another EVE ship in system unless the other was cloaked too fast)

I don't think we really need new systems as most of the current ones outside of hisec are quite empty.

This is mostly the result of large coalitions being able to use jump bridge and cyno chains to instantly project limitless power across unlimited distances and thus maintain a high amount of coalition level income from large numbers of hi value moons that are easily defended from fleets and siphons.

No, the reason the majority of systems are empty in null sec is because CCP nerfed the crap out of them. Unless they have -0.6 or lower the system is empty most of the time. Large coalitions choose to own all the space around the few good systems as a safety net.

I don't see the problem with empty systems. I've been in Deklein a couple of days ago and every single system I visited (around 20) had at least 2 people in local. That's utter crap. If all space is populated like highsec, the sense of loneliness, coldness and desolation vanishes. That's not what I personally want EVE to be. If people really insist on getting more people into 00 and lowsec, we need more space so that they can scatter around like they do today. And we need these "worthless" systems (I cannot really understand why they are worthless. Is it only because the ISK printing is a bit slower in them? Pathetic excuse.) where apparently no one wants to be in as buffers and hotspots for sweet stuff that's been driven out of the populated areas of 00/low.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Psst, the real money is in renters these days, not moons.

More space means more room to shove renters, means more income for the blocs.

I happen to like empty systems. And yeah, they're adding new regions in a year or two?

It's also the result of 40-50k peak time players spreading very thinly across ~8k systems. This game does not need new systems, unless those systems serve a very different function, like, say, a hostile empire that would provide high level PVE and PVP while preventing sov and POS anchoring. Though even that is questionable.
