Annoying background sound V2

Hello.

There is a very annoying background sound in game currently. You can hear it when you're in space or docked and you can only remove it if you set world level volume to 0 wich is not cool because I like the sound of my turrets.

Please fix it CCP. Thank you.

yes, press esc , there you can adjust game sound and turn it off

No such noise... but then again, I turned off the sound when the JUKEBOX got unceremoniously nuked and wasn't replaced by a newerer, happier Jukebox.

Must have been some "rebalancing" of Dev resources for, y'know, "more important stuff", but I'm sure the new Jukebox will appear someday.

So I just listen to original soundtracks.... y'know, the ones without the coughing in the background.

Only if I set world volume to 0 wich is something that I do not like.

It's the stargate idle sound.
I've had it a few times after jumping; moving the camera around also repositions the sound.

No real fix other than to relog although I've notice it disappear on it's own on occasion. Possibly after entering planet view in PI.

I had to turn my volume right up to even hear that on the OP's video

I played the link but could hear nothing over the sound of the wind whipping through the asteroid belt I was in.

Obligatory "EVE has sound?" post.

Jokes aside, I turn the EVE sounds down now that the jukebox is gone. I liked being able to go through the songs in EVE and listen to different ones when I wanted to. Now I just play my own music on pandora or random youtube mixes.

Annoying bug, indeed. The electrical sound of the gates is following me everywhere, it doesn't matter if i dock or not. Sometimes i can make it stop if i open the star map, but this doesn't work always.

This shouldn't be occurring at all. File a bug report and let CCP WhiteNoiseTrash know what's going on in this thread.
