OGB break this game to mad sh...

Okay I have really seen it all now.
OGB is really the most gamebreaking sh.. we have in game. Hidden superpowers^^
I really have seen it all now.

Just brawled with a stabber in scramwebrange at 2000m with 180mm autocannons and 2 rapid light missile launchers (!!!!)
vs a condor that was boosted to hell.
Guess what? That condor tanked around 350dps cap stable while scrammed and webbed and chewed a stabber down.
Yeah grab prolly loki and legion links and you can tank 350dps at worst case range in a tech1 frig^^

Really CCP that is the biggest gamebreaking sh... ever and kills solo completely.

So when we will see a fix to that nonsense????

TBH even when this happens, people will still whine and moan about them. While I see solo play has it's place in Eve, people need to understand that this doesn't mean you won't get your ass handed to you in what is an MMO.

Solo is completely dead. Completely. As long as you can get surprised by "oh I have superpowers" it is completely dead.
It cannot be that silly not armor bonused tech1 frigs with enough links can tank better than a vagabond^^

I'm guessing you didn't hit the frigate due to tracking issues.
(2 rapid light missile launchers)
Bring neuts next time?

Any frigate could tank you.
Bigger=better in 1v1 only when upship brings neuts and maybe webs.

Just so we are clear that frigate only tanked about 60-80 dps at most.
And that's assuming you had drones on it.
Which it of course killed.

You actually only did about 140dps to a wbbed AB fit Condor at 2km

That Condor was killed today by a solo Comet, and the Condor pilot's super special secret is actually a 3bil HG Slave pod, but please go ahead and blame links when you can't even get solo kills in a frigate-killing cruiser. It's not your lack of skills or lack of grasp about basic game mechanics- it never is.

Ah okay it is completely usual and intended by CCP that linked condors tank 140dps^^. Turn brain on.
Yesterday I saw a Mega Navy going over 3k m/s. Retributions going 4.6k m/s you see almost on daily basis.
And slaves only won´t let this guy tank 140dps in a ****** condor btw.
But let me guess: You are one of these link users that even doesn´t undock without 2 links?
This game is already the most newbie unfriendly stuff you can imagine.
And additionally everyone who doesn´t own 2 link alts can only do F1 warrioring. This game really even forces you to F1 warrioring because you never know if the target you try to solo is linked to hell or not.

And yes only 80dps done to it.... yeah congrats I am a pvp newbie^^

Btw. 180mms track webbed non linked frigs down like hell. I was already leeroying with 180mm ac fitted cruisers into 3 frigs at once and won. So it is not a tracking issue for sure.

After analyzing your writing abilities and inferring your intelligence level from them I am able to make the following judgement:

Your opponent didn't need OGB to kill you. You're just awful at this game. You would have died to a well-piloted noobship. The condor didnt tank 350dps, he probably just tanked 35dps because from your paltry knowledge of game mechanics that's all you were able to apply to him.

Please refrain from posting in the features and ideas forum as if you had anything worthwhile to offer.

I actually have one titan from every race with me providing boosts where ever I may roam

I would not have gotten the 5 solo kills of today without them, because everyone else has 4 OGBs with them. And a Falcon, and neutral logi.

As already said/wrote: I know the damage I am applying. Already killed 3 frigs at once in 220mm fitted cruisers. Tracking under normal circumstances is not the issue. Issue is more the combination tank+less sig because of loki+more speed because of loki.

This could just be me being crazy, but it seems as if you weren't actually fighting solo. Hear me out. I know it sounds strange, but what if you were in a 2 v 1 situation? Maybe there was the Crow there, like you said, and a second, unseen dude lurking about somewhere? You see, you were outnumbered and never knew it! Crazy huh!

Maybe that second guy, a booster, you call it, was even owned by the same guy playing the Crow! Ridiculous! You could have been playing against just one person, but that one person could have had multiple accounts, so you were playing against two in game characters!

What crazy times we live in.

So let me just understand this. You want offgrid boosts nerfed, so that when you get into a fight, you get pointed, then his mate shows up on grid, but like 300km out, and burns in a giant orbit around you, giving you the finger while still providing boosts. Sound about right?

Moving them offgrid to ongrid is not going to solve anything. Get your own booster, or hunt theirs down.

But in big systems these funny boosters can even be 200au away. You almost never know if the other one has 8 accounts and is boosted to hell.
I have really nothing against implants. Smartbombers like Santo Trafficante balance it out. But hunting ogb is a bad joke. Almost no risk using them.

You kinda missed my point. The point is ongrid or offgrid really doesn't matter. They could be offgrid cloaked until you engage, or ongrid at 200km. It really doesn't matter which. If you started a 1 on 1, got points on each other, so you are both committed, then a booster decloaked 200km away, there's still nothing you could do to stop it. So the fact that it happens to be offgrid is clearly not the issue.

To be honest, it's not even just boosting. You could engage someone and their logi friend could warp in and start repping them from 60km away. A little frigate won't get to and pick though a decent logi before they get popped by their opponent. Or you could engage and their friends appear on grid and start shelling you with ranged weapons.

At the end of the day, if people choose to tip the odds in their favour by breaking it being a one on one, that's just tough luck. Complaining that offgrid boosting must be nerfed is just making it a scapegoat for the issue.

At 2000m, you were doing about 30 dps. Assuming he had no implants or boosts.
At 5km, that rises to 40 dps. At the edge of scram range, you'd have started slowly breaking his ~50dps tank with your ~80dps applied.

Even webbed, the Condor is faster than your missile's explosion velocity (reducing their damage) and can easily outrun your tracking in close.
