Soooo, not long ago i joined a null corp mostly for fleet pvp and rarely pve.
Atm i can fly t2 af,cloaky frigs and t2 cruisers, only amarr tho.i was told i should train for armageddon if i want to have some income.
Should i even try solo ratting without t2 drones? Do neuts work on rats? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Since any income is better than zero income, you should try ratting without T2 drones. It sounds like you might be better off in something for which you are already skilled. What T2 cruisers can you fly? A Sacrilege can be effective in a pinch.

Neuts will not do much to rats. An Armageddon would not be my last choice for ratting, but it is far from ideal.

I assume you are in Guristas space - my advice is to train for an Ishtar if you really want to rat effectively. Until then, get T2 Heavy Drones and/or sentry drones. If you feel compelled to use your lasers, use crystals that do more thermal damage.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Bomber is a good proposal. Armageddon is a good proposal.

It's not about isk though. If you are willing to pvp your corp or alliance will give the ships for it. Players who play mean way more than cheap pvp ships. In order to enjoy eve, focus little in isk and more in building contacts.

You have to be picky on your targets.

My targets were bs rats. That way t1 cruisers that I flew worked fine since bs rats could barely touch me.

properly fit, an AF or t1 cruiser can belt rat effectively. So can a bomber. A HAC does it like a t1 cruiser, but obviously much faster. MWD and max dps with a few resist mods is a good way to go, you can rep while warping to the next belt.

With regards to the T1 drones the navy sentry drones can be a big help at squeezing in a bit more efficiency from lower skill characters. That being said there is every reason to max out sentries right now. Particularly with the gedon and proph hulls.

geddon+ cruise missiles can get 800-900 dps.

Sac works fine for about 400 dps

If your just belt ratting a sac with HML will rock out. Make sure you fit an eccm though

Making isk is mostly a side activity when there's no fleets to roam with.

I found Ishtar really OP now, you can rat with PVP fit. Optimal range on sentries 70+km outside npc damage
area, and 700 DPS applied instantly to that range, plus if you learn the tricks you don't even need to target
any rats, just deploy the drones after first one locked you and wait.

Walk into the club like "What up? I got a big cockpit!"

Any battlecruiser will be more than enough to kill any belt rats (excluding officer spawns).

However belt ratting is pretty terrible income. You should definitely look into running anomalies and complexes.

Just say you're looking to rat for isk man. You have 3 whole kills to your name AND you're in C02. Get over yourself.

Harbinger is fine for belt ratting. Conflag will burn through BSes pretty fast.

This setup should work well for Blood Raiders, and countering their neuts. I'm just guessing you're in BR space because you were told to fly Amarr ships. If you're in Sansha space, add TCs or something.

Yup,i'm looking for steady income to pay for my losses,if i don't have income,i can't lose ships.
On the co2 note - i'm a low sp new pilot also new to null,so i'm proud of my kills.
Learning to pvp is really hard and people have to start somewhere, and me being in co2 doesnt automatically make me a good pilot.

The cap boosters are a bit of a pain to get into null for regular use. Ideally, you should use batteries and a vampire but I had some CPU issues and didn't try to refine the fit. You can probably improve it if you mess with it.

Hauling them to null regularly might be a pain but since i'm not the only who's gonna use em,i hope to find a way to keep myself and my corpues supplied with some help.
