Cald/Min faction ship ideas

because 1 ship got a bonus to RR there is no need to give that to all the future pirate shipsUgh

Just digging out an idea from 2008:

Ulfhedinn

Originating from a tribal world at the Minmatar/Caldari border.
Tradition of warfare even far before starflight or the amarr slavery..
Parted with the minmatar republic when they could no longer be controlled.
Cevere mercenaries that became reckless beyond sanity and a liability to their corps joined up.
Became a machine gun on auto fire that can be pointed at anyone when the right incentive is given.
Most fight for the sheer joy of blowing things up.
Fly modified ships to fit their tactics.

Ships are based on the Breacher, Scythe and Tempest
Ship bonuses are:
+25% RoF to Rocket/HAM/Siege launchers.
+10% explosive and kinetic missile damage per Caldari Ship Skill
+5% ship velocity per Minmatar Ship Skill

Fitting gets increased where needed to be on par with the other faction ships, especially a additional low slot for a damage or speed module. Turrets get removed and missile slots increased.

i like this bonuses much better than the OPs ones

First off the Worm/Gila/RS aren't missile boats, they are drone boats.

I liek the idea of a TP bonus, but I rather not loose the boost bonus, that's why I have the explosion radius bonus in there

Last I heard the RS and Gila were going to be left be, only the Worm was getting looked into, which is smart.

Kirimeena D'Zbrkesbris, You are right, that bonus does need replaced, but any idea what it should be changed to? I'm out of ideas to be honest haha

Minmatar Battleship Bonuses:
7.5% bonus to shield boost amount per level

50% bonus to remote shield repairer amount

This should help it not be OP, but I still don't know for the other bonuses, needs to be something that would make the ship have to change up to use, ideas?

Also already been over how to fix Rapids, you didn't like my idea Arthur, even though it was pretty sound.

Lore wise, Mordus ships should be solidly gallente/caldari.

I'd like to see the RS changed to Cald/Min, and a Mordus be Cald/Gal, but i doubt it will happy. SO prob will be a Cald/Min for Mordus, or maybe it will be a different faction

This. Possibly with slot layout that allows for both shield or armor tanking, Minmatar style.
I feel like there are alredy enough shield only missile ships, I would like more options for armor missile ships other than Khanid and odd ones like the Gnosis and Schyte FI.

I think the Thukkers are a good option for a Min/Cal faction. Maybe rails and armor or missiles and armor.

I thought the Thukker too, but they already make ships for the Minmatar. And it needs to be a missile boat. There isn't a true missile platform for the pirate factions yet. I'd like shields or armor, with missiles and a bit of speed like min ships.
