This. Sucks to lose a post, email or what have you but copy/paste is your friend!

Lol same happened to me. Accidentally bumped the "back" button on the side of my mouse while writing a very lengthy post, pressed "forward" with a small hope that it would still be there... fail.

The old forums kept the text if this happened! I like the style of the new forums, and some cool features, but still lots of glitches to be worked out.

This is not the signature you're looking for.

I know how that feels. That is why I tend to write everything in a word processor before copying and pasting it in the post.

I find I always write a nice reply in quick reply, then without fail manage to hit "reply" instead of post at least half the time Sad

If a massive post is worth posting you would re-type it. Think of this is a filterBlink

Well, it's not incredible, but more towards unbelievable ... ignorance and disregard on a fairly basic forum functionality. Forum shenanigans and glitches, trashing what's being posted isn't new ... any regular posters can tell you that. You'd think they'd at least paid some attention to make that part a bit more robust . Kids these days ... more blings blings than robust functionality. *sigh*
