So far the only intel we have regarding Feythabolians is

Quote:
The human diaspora throughout the systems of EVE was quite widespread prior to the collapse of the EVE Gate. In many areas, cultures cut off from other civilizations thrived in isolation. One of these regions was Feythabolis, a relatively small empire of progressive thinkers and egalitarian political philosophers. Unfortunately, this state lagged other empires significantly in technological advancement, having only recently started to colonize the local space just as the ruthless Angel Cartel was moving in to establish their control. Completely outclassed by the military forces of the Cartel, the fledging empire was defeated with ease and its entire population bent to the will of the Angels.

Taken from evelopedia. Could we get some more content on the background of this civilization?
Do share/ elaborate.

Looks like all that progressive thinking didn't help much with re-discovering space travel, huehue.

On a more serious note, interesting stuff regardless. Would be neat for CCP to clarify what is going on with them.

I'd imagine what is going is that they're all either dead, or part of the Cartel, having forgotten their roots. The Angels are the folks who stole a Jovian BS design for their own and got away with it; a few hundred million space hippies aren't going to really keep them from doing what they do best.

Somewhat related, there are plenty of these little lore tidbits scattered around the map. Whether they ever go anywhere, however, is a great question. (Remember when pirates used to drop logs?)

Coincidentally I have recently found some of those along my assets. I believe they were basically maps or clues to finding static complexes back in the day. Little tidbits like that made exploring the EVE universe fun back then.

Indeed they have, they were sacked when those complexes were removed or repurposed into landmarks.
You can still find all of them on evelopedia though.

Regarding the op, I'm personally more interested in them from a history perspective, and about their civilization and culture before they came into contact with Angels. The fact that they're extinct these days is not questionable.
