Does anyone know of a detailed kiting tutorial i can look into? I'm flying a condor and havent had much luck in FW with it but im really wanting to make it work.... A.K.A. find out what im doing wrong.

HAHA i have been doing brawling most of my FW carrer. Atron is by far my favorite frig it's just getting old being kited in my AB fit tronUgh

So i have been tring to learn how to kite. But like i said brawling in the Atron/Daredevil is my favorite by far. Just can't get that dang slingshot to work out for me in an AB tron going 1400ms against kiters that can keep me at range of 20KM and fly at 3400ms.

or just slap on an mwd to your atron and don't fall into the skill-less faggotry that is called condor kiting

I have to agree with the skill less part... but for some reason it just seems to be superior to brawling. Like i said above i like brawling much more but it agrivates me to no end when i get kited to death. So i was looking into kiting on the hole "if you can't beat them..join them" thing.Cry

ab/brawl > mwd/brawl > mwd/kite > ab/brawl


is really how it goes

AB frigates are great in FW because of how plex mechanics work and the prevalence of solo/small group, but you just have problems catching people who start off at range.

MWD frigates are everywhere else because you need to split opponents before the blob kills you.

Yah i believe i will go for this. Seems like my only real good option rite now aside from say, a dual prop Firetail.
Which i very much enjoy to fly but thats dem ISK's!!! So ill take the cheaper route i guess and just carry a spare MWD in my cargo. I understand how to slingshot and how to aproach/catch kiters, i just need more practice.

Any other frigs out there that maybe i have looked over that also offer a decent dual prop option?

actually now that i think about it. if you really want to **** off kiting missile ships, 99% of them are cocky idiots who only carry scourge (or nova) faction missiles.

use the uber *** kiter of kiters called the dual damp nano maulus. it's like a 2mil isk fit and kills everything in this game that doesn't have a natural target range of 100km.

Yeah, the maulus works well vs kiters, and as a kiter itself too.

hookbill can get pretty good range with javelins and a missile rig or two, even without implants it still leaves you with enough fitting room to mount a solid tank and full tackle. it's pretty tough to kite that in a t1 frig without links
