When looking to create a gambling site in eve online, how do you link the site to an in game account so money can be deposited and withdrawn?

Well existing gambling sites allow people to deposit isk and withdraw isk from a website. How do they do this?

So lets say i deposit money to a corp for a website... theres someone online in that corp with access to the site 24/7 to process my request manually?

Generally, they require the player to send ISK to a particular corporation and then they have a system on their site that monitors the journal entries and credits your site account with the ISK.

When you withdraw funds from the account back to your Eve account, you make the request on the site and then they transfer the money from the Corp account to your Eve account.

The Eve dev API provides the methods to check account balance (http://wiki.eve-id.net/APIv2_Char_AccountBalance_XML), check character journal entries (http://wiki.eve-id.net/APIv2_Char_JournalEntries_XML), check Corp journal entries (http://wiki.eve-id.net/APIv2_Corp_JournalEntries_XML), etc.

So it's a matter of writing your own server-side code to monitor entries relevant to your Corp account and to then trigger additions of ISK to accounts on your site when deposits are made from a player.

The reverse is to script requests for withdrawals and to then transfer ISK back to a player in game.

That's my understanding of it.
