Player Features and Ideas Discussion

I feel it would be a huge help to add the ability for a small window or numbers to show on mining lasers. The number would show the total amount of resources the laser has yielded while running. This easy to integrate feature would be rewarding to active miners and help with cycle times. There is no advantage to having this feature as anyone can already do this on a calculator. Though something this small would save a lot of mental calculation and work.

Perhaps there is a better way to remedy this situation. Please discuss any pros or cons you see to this or something similar.
