I'd hire fellow trying to build Infinity: Quest for Earth and provide him everything he needs to make that game come true. Deadline: Q1 2013.

Rest would be dumped into the fast cars, expensive ladies and few castles and a yacht I suppose.

Buy lots of guns and ammo
Buy a castle somewhere
Buy armourd cars and personell carriers
Buy loads of seeds,dry and canned foods

Well, you could of course buy CCP and fix all the wrongs with the company and the game, but I'm not sure how good a ROI you'd get and how secure this investment would be...

Honestly, if I had that much $, I would never need to use credit, everything would be paid for, any work I do would be volunteer-based (as in unpaid), and my wife and I would travel A LOT.

RL has a lot more to offer than internet spaceships.

If I was still single, I would spend it on two things...

I'd sink about a million € into Plex over a decent period of time so I don't break the market. if my calculations are vaguely accurate that should be around 33 trillion ISK. Then I'd either pay people to blow up other people for my own amusement. Or, remember that I still have €346 million that I could be spending in real life instead, and forget all about meddling with internet spaceships.

so you'd pay your friends to play with you in a building you purchased? because said "company" has all of zero sources of income, and does nothing except cost money to maintain, from your description. companies are not just anonymous blobs of cash that do as they please, they are finely tuned machines built for a singular purpose, and their output is worth more than their input - the difference used to expand the functionality and scope of said machine.

as for me? why would I even be thinking about EVE if i came across 347 million bucks? The only things I'd be thinking about are where I wanted my new house and what order I wanted to see every single country in the world in.

I'd buy a small town in a moderate climate location that is far enough removed from general society to be defensible. I would then transfer the people I care about to this town while allowing in some people who I have met in real life and know they have utility to make the town better.

Then I would break the irrigation system we have built to make guns and get kicked out by the very people I have helped just as the town gets over run by mutant octopus/human babies.

Obviously buy a fortress-island, some women and anti-air/anti-ship weaponry first...

- Buy large quantities of nerve gas.

-Use it in Jeruzalem, the Vatican, Mecca and Washington to get rid of some of the worlds worst lunatics(while leaving the architecture intact).

-Watch the religious people of the world kill eachother.

- Keep an extra stash of WMD to force religion out of politics in all developed countries.

-Hire a good surgeon when immortality becomes available.
