To me PLEX indicates that players are spending isk since the recent discounts didn't have much effect.

Some ships are still selling below cost because they are leftovers that were made before CCP increased the costs of ships in updates past. Those made after the fact and selling below cost are from people looking at the market price, not calculating the actual cost to build them (the Minerals I Mine Are Free fallacy), and selling at the old formerly-profitable price that is now selling at loss.

I haven't looked at the PLEX market, so no comment there.

Can't wait for the 8th so PLEX can try to drop. Not that it will. EVE has two kinds of players now:

Those who recklessly and uncontrollably expand their army of PLEX-fueled alts.

And those who recklessly and uncontrollably buy more and more PLEX for RL cash to try to be relevant.

All the sane people quit a long time ago.

Ah that explains things...

...and I feel like an a-hole for not donating 10% of my asset value because I was waiting for plex to drop to at least 575 this week..to give more with less.

(and my 10% would be small fraction of that 35 billion they spent)

Ha ha.. i've been moving toward the first and ... it has been distracting me from enjoying other parts of the game.

The growth can be intoxicating - fun to buy the characters - but what to do when you stop isn't all that fun.. more a burden to keep up skill q s

That being said, the "sane'" part has been an issue.. mostly because I haven't been finding strong enough Koolaid to make me acceptable "insane" to pursue other game goals

Getting on 20 more kill-mails doesn't excite me anymore and I don't want to give full api on all my accounts to corps that might be doing interesting things (especially as "Might" is a low odds proposition.. ... everyone says they will but a small fraction live up to it or don't suddenly implode)

I still on my first account now ,N18 is new char plan to focuse all race FR ,maybe its a long time training.
And the other char is important, he is market trader make money for me by high JITA standing ( 0.19%)
He insure made me paid for PLEX monthly

Now ,I had more than 38B in EVE ,but I found out i drop in lazy trading, dont kno wut to do online.
