Stuck @ applying patch

Stuck on this and can't seem to sort it out. Repair etc won't work:

I had the same problem, but thanks to Aisha's post I managed to solve it. It is worth noting that I had to run the repair tool (with the server set to sisi) and restart the update process several times before it successfully installed the patch.

FYI: We are aware of the issue. After rolling out a new launcher version for Singularity the launcher can fail a bit more violently in some case, but at the same time in a more useful way for us to debug some issues where the update process could get stuck. Hopefully we manage to fix this before the weekend.

My SiSi launcher hangs on load, here's the details for you dev folks.

Can you check in the following folder: %localappdata%\CrashDumps for any crash dumps that might have been made by the EVE Launcher. They will be named something simiiar to launcher.exe.XXXX.dmp, where XXXX is a number pertaining to the old processID of the (now dead) EVE Launcher.

If you do find some, could you submit a bug report with it attached, and we'll attempt to debug the crash.

This is the same error we're debugging in another thread; we'll publish a new version once we've resolved the issue.

Nothing from the eve launcher, unfortunately. it barely gets to load before it freezes up. Straight

heres what I do

1. GOTO MY SISI FOLDER INSTALL
2. GOTO LAUNCHER FOLDER
3. DELETE EVERYTHING IN IT
4. RUN REPAIR TOOL
5.LOG IN AFTER REPAIT COMPLETED

This fixed the issue I was having where neither of my SiSi clients would display "Validating Client" or download the patch if one was available. Thank you for posting this up.

got a strange problem i have installed one time eve client , tried run singularity with launcher shortcut and adding command line --args /server:87.237.38.50" after this launcher downloaded some patch and i played singularity , after some time i went back to tranquility launcher not allow me play as button to play is not accessable.

debug file says this

i try run repair tool with admin rights and it ask for 25mb patch , patch downloaded and applied
then i run launcher and ...... no effect

i run repair tool again and it ask for same patch like before. i decided to delete entire eve folder and reinstall client into three separated folders (3 eve clients) i used first one to play on tranquility and it worked then i tried to use second copy of eve client and try run singularity, i was shocket as it asked for patch (!sic) patch downloaded and i try run launcher .. button play dont appear to be clickable

what i do wrong???

By connecting to Singularity your launcher also updated to a more recent version than the launcher version that is running on TQ. The Singularity launcher is currently not compatible with TQ, you´ll have to fix this problem by reinstalling the launcher from the version that is currently on TQ: http://content.eveonline.com/EveOnlineLauncher/release/EVEOnlineLauncher_2_1_655130.exe

i have reinstalled entire eve client in case of using singularity decided to do three eve client copies.
new problem is that i used 1 copy for singularity and it downloaded patch , singularity runned and played some time then i quit .

i opened copy of eve launcher where i play tranquility it asked for patch and downloaded it then try launch game and it not works , repair tool still downloading same patch had to delete two copied eve clients to run third copy on tranquility.

i wondering why using copied one eve client affect the second copy of eve client and render both unplayabe. if i touch singularity in another copy, it affects my main copy where i play tranquility ever if they are installed on separated hard disks (one copy on C drive one on D drive one in E drive)

it looks like this

copy 1 tranquility
copy 2 singularity
copy 3 not used

using copy 2 affecting copy 1. repairing copy 1 cause downloading patch in copy2 running launcher in copy 2 downloading patch in copy 1. after long fights with launcher both copies are unplayable and must use copy 3 to play on tranquility..

They should not interfere with each other, unless you mixed up your short cuts or installation directories. If this is a reproducible problem then please supply us with a bug report.

Confirming that two separate eve installs in two separate directories work perfectly well. As I'm typing this I have both TQ and SiSi clients open and doing stuff on both.
