At 1 mil/jump, you may struggle to find jobs.

Your MAJOR, well established competitors are:

Red Frog @ 550k/warp
Push @ 450k/warp

Unless you're going to be able to be faster than them, you'll need to lower your prices or you won't see much work.

red frog are down to 500k\jump on HS this days.

If they are hauling in empire for less than 1 million per jump they are losing isk with the new warp model. They would earn more mining veldspare ffs.

If so, they have not updated their calculator. I did Jita→Amarr, and it said 5.5 mil. 5,500,000/10 warps (NOT jumps) is 550,000 isk/warp.

I don't think the point is to "make more money than mining veldspar." Some people just enjoy freighting (or doing that behind something else). I know a few people that have a toon in RF so that they can utilize their freighter alt when they don't personally need to use it.
