Id love to hear the story behind this one.

Im just imagening Yummy being ruffed up and being *escorted* to Mitch by 2 of his goons while Mitch himself is calmly sitting behind his desk with a cuban cigar.

Alternatively: this.

Since some of you requested it, the tale of how Yummy met his maker:

Yummy has no isk. His friends give him isk constantly, I've never heard of a time where Yummy has not owed anyone isk. Yummy also doesn't spend his isk, he losses it. All of the precious isk that you guys lose to Yummy scams goes straight into Blink. What does he do with his earnings from Blink? Blinks it and losses it all. Gambling addictions are rough. Plain and simple, Somer loves this dude.

So, a few days ago, my Dota-loving acquaintance here asked Yummy for 2.Xb, stating that he wanted to blink. Trying to give Yummy a taste of his own medicine, similar to what his friends feel when they find that their 10b was lost completely due to a "mistake". The 2.xb was used on a Gigablink and he was the winner of that Gigablink. 7.8b was paid out and Yummy believes he is entitled to it. After many desperate pleadings, merc corp threats, and tears, we've arrived here.

TL;DR - Yummy has gambling addiction. Gave isk. Isk was blinked and won. Yummy gets nothing. Yummy still sad.

How is that even a scam?

"hey m8 can i borrow 2b for blink"

"sure friend"

If it's that easy should I just start asking everyone I know to let me borrow 2b for blink?

Also who is this yummy guy anyway, never heard of him. I've heard of Bob FromMarketing and a couple other famous scammers but never this dude.

Yea that's not a scam, that's just screwing over your friend. Or does this Yummy person just give billions to strangers? If so, I don't see why he even expected to ever get it back :p

Hilarious.

So... I give you ISK and you win a blink... I should get the winnings? LMFAO.

Our friend Yummy has had a gambling problem for a long time. This obsession fuels his desperation and drives him to lie and cheat. Scammer that he is, he also has a problem selling his ill-gotten gains because, you guessed it, everyone thinks it's a scam. So, like a junkie needing his fix, he takes everything he owns to the pawnshop, and when that dries up, he resorts to stealing again.

I had been dealing with Yummy for a while now, and he had taken to messaging me for quick loans and to fence his loot. Despite Yummy's assurances that he wouldn't possibly bother stealing such small amounts as a few billion, I only gave him a couple hundred mil at a time, knowing he would eventually steal it, but hey, I was making profit off his addictions, so it was just an operating cost in my eyes. I warned him about the dangers of gambling and he gave me reassurances that he was 'clean'. At the same time, our friend Yummy here was taking ever larger loans from other people, and using them to gamble on blink. When he got banned, his need to gamble had taken such hold over him that he resorted to using others as a proxy to blink for him.

He began using one loan to pay off another, continuing the charade as long as he could and then burning bridges. After giving him many chances, I got tired of him private messaging me literally every time I logged in, begging for his isk fix, so I cut him off. I had loaned him 600mil which he absconded with, although, to be fair, that portion represents just a fraction of the earnings I had made off selling his stolen goods. Cutting him off and taking the isk loss was well worth the subsequent end of his private message barrages. The last thing I told him was that he would end up hurting from his actions much more than I would. I knew that it was only a matter of time before he was broke again.

Not much later, my dota playing friend Jiaulina messaged me with some excited news. He had just won a gigablink with some of Yummy's isk! However, he wasn't sure what to do. Jia was also well aware of Yummy's history of deception and his obsession with gambling that would only lead him to ruin. Ships Channel being the community of traders that it is, we all knew exactly how much Yummy owed, and to whom. I might or might not have said things that might or might not have influenced our friend Jia in making the decision to keep the isk for himself.

Soon after, Yummy appeared, hat in hand, asking me about where his isk was. It seems Jiaulina withheld Yummy's payout because I threatened to cut off Jiaulina's link to my lucrative null-sec market and customer base if he transferred any isk to him. This may or may not have happened, but Jia being the smart businessman that he, wisely chose which bridge to burn. So, Yummy having no other choice, was forced to appear before me, grovelling for me to release his money.

He 'generously' offered to pay me 1bil out of the funds Jia held, however, I reminded him that possession of 9/10th's of the law and he was in effect asking that Jiaulina pay me out of his own pocket. Furthermore Jia is a free man and the decision was only his to make. I could only attempt to influence his decision, and I would not be doing that for any less than double of what Yummy owed me, a sum of 1.2bil. Yummy tried to convince us that he had changed his ways, but his pleas fell on deaf ears.

I think not giving Yummy the isk to fuel his addiction is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for him on EVE.

It's a good thing I only give my friends gifts and not loans. Though I've gotta say- this thread is awkward, knowing both parties somewhat.

Mitch did sell me a nice Scorpion, Ishukone Watch recently. Have any more for sale?
