...USUALLY YOU GIVE COMPESATION FOR THIS MLFUNCTIONS!?!?!? WHAT KIND OF COMPENSATION??

Actually, usually, they don't. There is no usually about it. These kinds of malfunctions aren't a usual happening. The tend to happen more often after expansions, but compared to most, this expansion has been largely malfunction-free. If the servers are down for two hours, that represents ~.02% of total uptime for the year. It represents about 1.2% of the total week of uptime and 8% of total uptime for the day. As someone that checks his skillqueue the moment I log in every time and updates it to be at least 24 hours if necessary, I would suggest that if you had less than 2 hours left on your skillqueue, that is entirely your problem and your own fault.

You would be more deserving of compensation if a hairdresser accidentally split one end on one strand of the hair on your head than you are for this.

Really? ACTUALLY they do! they wrote that could happen USUALLY....

The 0,2% of total time for me it's about 5 MLN ISK or an honest COMPENSATION in skill points...just this...

do you think this is a sterile complaint? i don't care ;)

I too noticed what appears to be "Missing SP" on all 4 of my accounts.

The SP that is missing for each character is in the skill tree that was training before the maintenance. It seems the Total SP is not counting the currently accrued SP in an incomplete skill. But the skill is still training normally at the same level. So it seems its just a display error until the skill finishes the current level.

Example

Evemon Reports 6,263,528 in navigation
In game Reports 5,758,621 in navigation

For a difference of 504,907 SP

The skill I was training during the maintenance was Jump Drive Calibration to 5.
The difference is approx what I have into level 5 so far,

PAUSING AND RESTARTING THE SKILL WILL FIX THE DISPLAY ERROR!

Again this appears to just be a display error but I could be wrong.

It may be evemon that have the bugs in that case. My evemon and eve itself also have a difference of opinion regarding my SP. Evemon reports 145 million and Eve reports 155 million. I prefer the Eve-opinion here I think. :)

I also want to commend CCP for optimizing the bug-report feature.
It's efficient, easy to navigate and the screenshot-option is absolutely awesome. :)

PS. I don't need to be compensated for this latest crop of bugs. I already have 5 million unallocated SP I don't know what to do with from the last round of compensations. ;)

The launcher, as well as the repair tool, cannot connect to the server. It looks like it is trying to patch, but the furthest its gotten is the little launcher info on the bottom right saying it was making a folder for the patch. Then it tells me it cannot connect to the server. FIX NOAW! If i dont fly in New Eden soon ill start to realize the world around me...

I was going to go ahead and re-install the client. Now ill wait to see if someone else is having a similar issue.

It says : The server you are connecting to cannot be reached.
Please check your internet settings and restart the EVE launcher.

Should I just re-install?

The first time I ran the repair tool it crashed with that problem, I ran it again straight away and it worked fine then - so if you haven't tried the repair tool again, give it a second whirl. I had been logging in previously all day using a file called exefile.exe in the /bin directory, as all of the launchers were coming up in offline mode, but once the repair worked, the normal launcher worked again.

Hopefully the repair might work for you before the trouble of a reinstall.

Everyone that actually matters to the community thinks this complaint is pointless.
We Bittervets have been saying "don't compensate us for malfunctions" for a reason. If you don't get it by now, then you are part of the problem.

It seems to me that if 0.2% of the time equates to him earning 5 million ISK, he is earning enough not to worry about that 5 million, it's a drop in the ocean.

I also don't quite get people asking for skill point compensation??? Well actually I do, some people just feel a massive sense of entitlement. If the system isn't down for 24 hours or more such as was the case recently (and even if it is >24 hours, so what), why the hell would you get compensated for skill points? Not having at least 24 hours in your skill queue is a voluntary choice, nothing to do with CCP whatsoever. If you organise the thing properly you can usually have several days queued as a minimum at any point in time.

THE SERVER WENT DOWN FOR LESS THAN HALF AN HOUR, I DEMAND AT LEAST 10 TRILLION SKILLPOINTS AND A MILLION ISK PER SECOND OF THE SERVER BEING DOWN, AND THE GOONS BEING BANNED, AND TEST, AND PANDEMIC, AND CCP
