Well, so much for my day off...
This has been happening more and more recently it seems.
Recent expansion causing a few more issues? I realize hardware problems might not be linked to the data issues, but it's awfully convenient timing. Besides, inexplicable data issues points me to hardware first. Seems like this should have been looked into prior to a node crash.

Dear CCP

I recently mailed you a copy of my work and leisure schedule and requested you ensure that you arrange Downtime to coincide with the periods titled working , sleeping , eating or shagging.

Whilst this downtime did coincide with the start of a time tabled "shagging" period, I must protest that I finished considerably before this DT did.

Got to be realistic here - Expecting them to sort out it in 3 minutes ...? Big smile

Personally I believe this is due to CCP not properly fitting a Caldari Hamster HW stability array II :)

Oh well downtime gives me time to catch up on forum posts I suppose, and of course giggle at all the silly people demanding recompense for downtime (do people really think HW is infallible and never fails?)

Since no one else is mentioning it, perhaps I should. The first evidence of any issue led to CCP rebooting to fix within very few minutes, and led to a launcher announcement right after with a link to forum with additional info, and the same for the following shut-down. Rarely in a game have I seen such prompt attention to issues along with some kind of meaningful explanation and info as to time required for remedy. All in all I have to say I am fairly impressed with remedial action speed and user feedback.

I know a lot of people ***** at CCP, but I cannot fault them for speediness of action here :)

Bwahahaha. I like this one.

Hi, CCP. Would you please put the UTC clock on the launcher? It would be very helpful to this pod pilot who flies pods and...and...stuff.

The cake is a lie, don't you know ?

I was only expecting that the problem could be fix speeder... We have to suffer from downtime everyday to let CCP the time to diagnostic and correct every problems.

Sincerly hope they'll manage to bring back Tranquility online quickly... We pay a subscription and the game is sinerly nice, I don't regret it... When it works =P

CCP made a rod for their own back by giving SP out in the past. So now people try and get more when they see an opportunity.
