I was hoping that they'd fixed the memory issue so I could run all 8 accounts again without eating 24gig of ram in a matter of minutes

If you don't consume 24 gigs with 8 accounts than your using 8 bit thumbnails as monitors!!!!.. which might be fun...
There are some children who can't afford 24 gigs of ram... not many, but some.. like in Detroit.. or something..

I have no issues whatsoever with running 9 accounts + FFXIV on my 8 gig machine, for usually 23 hours a day. Are you sure it's an EVE issue?

If they auction off Dev ships and modules, bet your ass I'd be at that. I wouldn't mind an Enigma, Legatus, or an Eidolon, or maybe even a cockroach, for 300 million isk.
