After a Rubicon lunch I've updated my eve client and succesfully logged in. But next day when I started a launcher I get this message:

OFFLINE MODE You are seeing this because no connection could be made to the content server or something went wrong while loading the online content. Restart Launcher

Is anyone get same error like me? I've found few topics on the forum, so I think it's a common problem.

Yep, same here, happend yesterday evening EU time. I can still connect to EVE from the exefile in the .bin folder, but the launcher wont connect for some reason. Error suddenly appeared too, and a restart of the computer didnt fix it.

Is this still an issue?

The autopatcher failed. Tried to manual patch it and it still failed. After running the repairtool twice though, the launcher is back on track :)

Managed to get one account into game and then the launcher is showing Tranquility as offline. It will let me enter the information for the second account but the "Play" button is grayed out.

Ok, I've started the game from /bin/exefile, update was DLed and after that launcher start workin. Sad thing that I managed it by myself and forums, but my ticket, that I've submitted 4 days ago, still don't have any answer from support.

I was just having this issue, I recently built this computer and Windows wasn't activated yet. The patcher in CCP/EVE didn't work, so I suspect that I was missing some program, which was installed once I validated windows. Launcher worked fine after validation, so I would suggest focusing on the things that windows validation makes possible (windows updates, etc) as the problem here.

MY issue has been resolved, good luck with yours, sir!

Found this thread looking around for help on my problem. I had the same issue as a few people here seemed to be having. None of the shortcuts for the launcher seemed to be working. It would show that it was connecting to the correct server, player count online, etc. It would let me enter my username/password, but the PLAY button was grayed out.

None of the shortcuts or the direct eve.exe would work, but I managed to get in by starting the game from /bin/exefile.exe
