I dont know about you, but a Drake is a flat stone and not a hawk.

I understand that the bonus is matching the drake and so it should look like a drake, but a T2 drake should sound more like something flat that you see on the ground, and not like something agile.

the second (and maybe even more importent) reason would be that we connect the nighthawk with something and then we see.... THAT...

please rename the nighthawk and bring a new T2 ferox one day... but please stop to use this name for the new hull.

suggestion from my side:

Boomslang - powerfull , while snakes are suposed to be on the ground (even if this one isnt, but the drake isnt as well). its also related to the drake, since they both got scales. any other snake name (red/black if possible) would also work for me.

Drymarchon melanurus erebennus

I read that as "Dry Anus"

I wear my goggles at night.

Any spelling/grammatical errors come complimentary with my typing on a phone

Ships are not named by how they look, it they were the Dominix would be called "Space Potato" or "Space Turd"

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

A drake is a duck or a dragon. It's not a stone.

No, the models are designed to look like the ship's namesake. See: Scorpion.

The old Scorpion model is still in the game as the wreck that remains after the pilot engaged an amarrian battleship. I'm telling you, it is there.
