Topics is locked Indefinitely from around May 2013.

How much of a boost does the +17 to all stats or attributes for 7 days gives in reality?

I hardly doubt that it is 17 times faster.

Anyone ever saw the other versions, prototype + 9 and standard +3?

I might want to try one next week to see if it is worth it, and if so, how much it is worth.

It pretty much doubles your skill training.

you get: (primary attribute + secondary attribute/2) points per minute

iirc, you start at 18 or 19. so 17 more is (almost) double that.

Bear in mind it's limited on when you can plug it in. if you're older than 7 days, it stops working.

Woo! CSM XI!

I just want to re-stress this point.

Unless you create a new character, it will only work NOW, if you try to use it next week, it'll already be too late.
But then, instead of creating a new character next week with the accelerator, you could simply train your current character this week and you'll have the same amount of skill points at the end of the next week.

I have a question on this also. Is it possible to use the Advanced Cerebral Accelerator for your first 7 days on a new character, then use the Prototype Cerebral Accelerator from day 7-21, then the Standard Cerebral Accelerator from day 21-35? I haven't found any restrictions on why you couldn't. I'm just looking for confirmation really.

I'd bet it could work, but , I am also wondering if there are skills requirements to be able to use them.
That would be crazy that the Advanced +17 version requires Cybernetics V to use which could take longer than 7 days.

I read that those do not destroy when the pod destroys.
It may be possible to destroy them to change a new implant.
They are probably treated as implant and would take a certain slot to function.
Or perhaps they don't.
I didn't read anywhere although it may have been written that other base implants (those from slot 1 to 5) could be used simultaneously.

They're not implants. They're boosters and they disappear when they run out.

Thank you, I didn't know that they were boosters.
They just work longer than normal booster I guess...

They are based on character age, so you can't stack a standard on top of a prototype and get the 49 days of booster time.
I start all my new toons with +4 learning and a prototype booster then after 14 days get a standard. Does mean I get some overlap time and loose 14 days of the standard. But if you have the isk, its really worth it.

You get a prototype with almost every starter pack, which incidentally are $0.99 on GMG last I checked because of Black Friday.

I have a steam account and i have bougt the starter pack already. Therfore I cant buy it again. To get another cerebral booster pack for my second character I would want to buy the starter pack from gmg. Would that be possible?

yes and yes
but

you have to create (a) new account(s) on both counts.
