I hear you, that would in fact just be better for a fleet :D I should have mathed the assigned dps, that is still quite a lot to have under the command of one fast-locking ship.

However I do regard drone assigning a core feature of drones, offsetting their massive drawbacks, and wouldn't like to see it go unless their other stats are then rebalanced to account for the loss.

Why are you even comparing the Vagabond with a Ishtar anyways? shouldn't you be comparing it with the Deimos? and the Ishtar with the Munnin? after all they are the equivalent ships. Stupid argument is Stupid.

Give me any cruiser that can field:

Large Guns/Missiles
Medium Guns/Missiles
Small Guns/Missiles
Utility for EWAR, Web, Damp, Neut - drones (not the best but ...)

Is bonused for them all, and works well in both shield and armour setups.

The Ishtar does all of this. Its good for everything.

Minmater get a closerange DPS for medium only, or get into the other ship for midrange DPS medium only. Both their ships are one trick ponies.

Yes its laughable, my advice, fly an ishtar for everything, its the 'go to' ship of the moment.

you can match tengus dps or tank but not both, same can be said for a t1 cruiser.. OMG ishtar is no better than t1 cruisers, buff ishtar.

You completely missed the point, what he wanted to say was that it can field the equivalent to large medium small sized guns /missiles in drone form with bonuses. Can be used as an utility ewar boat by using the appropriate drones, in a nutshell is much more versatile than any other cruiser.

In short for the dummies, sentries/heavy = large gun,missile equivalent, medium drones, medium gun,missiles equivalent, small drones, small guns and missile equivalent.

Equivalent in form of dps,signature and tracking and yes it IS bonused for that.

Umm ive killed frigs,cruisers and BC's easily with sentry.
