Problem: The Eve Universe is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space. This presents a problem in that there are so many items that abound, and more are introduced all of the time, that remembering them all is nearly impossible. Presently, the only way to find an in-game item without exiting to the web browser is to type and auto-link it (risking sending the item to chat), or try to find it in the market (not what the market was designed for). Neither is really a function built for that purpose, and each comes with it's own problems.

Solution: A new command, tab+Q, to access a database. This database interface allows you to search all items by keyword and presenting you with results that allow access to the same information that's available now via the above methods. While not informatively different, the functional difference is much more efficient, especially when paired with the hotkey to search for an item.

alt+b will open in-game browser, or f12 will open help menu with link to evelopedia (will open in IGB). Also i dont understand why cant you use market search or embarrassed to link item in chat (you can create personal channel for that if you are so shy or link them in in-game notepad).

Dont try to see problem where there is none.

Opinions are like assholes. Everybody got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.
