Ok, I understand you had to rebalance warp so that smaller ship gained something .. but the freighter has become unbarely slow as as a result. From the speed it's flying now maybe it should be twice as big now or carry double the load.. You could at least compensate for this change by rebalancing freighters with some extra feature..... or at least give them a rig shot for a custom speed buffing rig. It doesn't have to be lightning fast.. but really this change on the freighters which was already pretty slow is painful.

I agree 100%. It gets up to speed while turning so slow now that it gets stuck on the station 99% of the time. I almost fell out of my chair the one time I didn't get stuck.

CCP give us a XMAS present by doubling the turning speed (agility) of freighters or double their capacity or something please!

I've never warped anywhere in a freighter and according to reports from those who have I don't plan to.

For everything else, no stats were changed. Align time and agility pre-Rubicon and post-Rubicon are identical.

Freighters may take a lot longer to get up to maximum warp speed, but don't forget it's gone from 0.7au/sec to 1.33au/sec, effectively doubling their top speed compared to before.

"Wow, that internet argument completely changed my fundamental belief system," said no one, ever.

I still say freighters need 1 low slot, to give some flexibility and let us adapt to the situation. This would mean lowering the base cargo bay size so that a max skilled pilot with a cargo expander fitted would have the same cargo as the current freighters (cant have crazy people hauling caps into hi sec) This would allow players to fit a nano for empty or low value/low cargo trips, or a bulkhead for extra EHP when carrying smaller, expensive items.

In my case, I tend to do several trips with 20-80k m3 to keep the value down, if lowering the cargo space by half meant I could fit a bulkhead, I could reduce my number of trips. And on the return empty trip, I could fit a nano to help align faster. I'd be in heaven.

What if a freighters speed and align time were affects by how full it was ?
The more you're carrying, the slower they move.

Didnt you got new Ascendency implant set: even with low-grade set and WS-615 (or WS-618) implant instead of Omega you'll have warp speed of a T1 battleship (2.04AU/s)? If you want agility - you can use Nomad implant set and EM-705 (EM-706) implant.

Opinions are like assholes. Everybody got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.

should be true for all ships. Mass of fitted modules, cargo and drones in bay should be added to mass of ship

This should be true for all ships, so mass i calculated from all fitted items, modules, drones and cargo.

This is a good point but in reality no one is going to notice the change because A. the ramp up to warp is so slow the gain is nullified and B. no one is likely to attack you in warp.

I don't know about making Freighters some kind of power house .. but I believe some modification to start up into warp even as a trade for cargo loss should be part of the mix

i would support

-a low slot this would be a really good idea i would even take a slight cargo nerf for it

would make frighters more diverse.

as to the original statement .

i cant understand it cause nothing changed

you need the same time to align and initiate warp so you get stuck as often as you did before if your to stupid to use insta-undock points.
