Cargohold customizable folders

Hi,

can we have folders in cargohold? Like I can make folders "modules", "loot" and customize them using different filters - like the source of input, type etc.

Folders use the same space up to the whole limit of cargohold, or we could set up a limit ourselves.

Anyways here is example situation - I travel around with modules in "modules" folder, and any loot I pickup lands in "loot" - either by moving it to the folder, using salvage drones, salvager module or by clicking loot all button. Deployable structures would land in "anchorable" folder...

It would make life without stations easier :)

I am sure this will happen after we get the ability to make folders in stations ( ie never)

We have been asking for this for a very long time.

This would require the adding of a new attribute to items moving functions in EVE code. I of course have no idea about how it ticks but the logic would be - adding 'source' attribute with values like 'loot_button', 'drones', 'corp_manufacturing', 'me_manufacturing', 'me_invention'.

Folders would just use these in their filters.

As for the folders themselves make them similar to station container objects.

Not much coding, lots of honey :)

Use containers.

named containers.. I agree that maybe the orca corp hanger would be nice to have custom dividers but even that can be handled with cans.

  - remove the cloaked from local; free intel is the real problem, not  "afk" cloaking -

This is the second thread like this in a week. How do so many people not know what containers are?
