Background:

So CCP is changing up vehicles in Dust in the next patch, restructuring the skill tree and refunding all skillpoints put into vehicles. As a result of this exercise, certain modules will be removed, as they may no longer exist in the new vehicle skills/modules layout, 4 of which are BPO militia modules, which can only be bought with AUR. CCP will refund the AURUM spent in buying these 4 MILITIA module BPOs. (In Dust, BPOs mean you can equip the BPO without spending money on equivalent 'BPC').

Dustbunny rages about the BPO removal and refund, threatens to take legal action despite being told that bought AUR belongs to CCP and according to EULA CCP have a right to change up the game at their discretion:

I'm already seeking legal action against CCP

Dustbunny proceeds to 'take action' writing to 'various consumer groups', receives generic "go fcuk yourself". Posts on forums, gets laughed at.

This behaviour is hardly unique to dust bunnies. Plenty of eve players that cry legal action at the drop of a hat as well.

I thought this thread was about a certain topic for which we already have a thread.
Then I thought OP was the one threatening legal action.

Mittens was talking about it on comms during the battle in E-YJ. Apparently it's been significantly improved since launch, although that's not saying much.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

For a little background on why people are pissed about BPO removal, CCP made this thread a while back. Then a month later, they posted this announcement about the vehicle rework and reimbursement of items to their full ISK or AUR value.

People's main argument for why this is against the law is pretty much this:

Do I agree? No, nd even if they changed their stance about BPO removal, it would be better if we just removed all BPOs or reworked them greatly.
