What ships have you lost to NPC rats?

2 stealth bombers, one from Guristas null rats and the other to Sansha null rats, and probably more but I can't remember

Sansha killed couple of my basilisks. Dat 15k dps TCRC alpha.

p.s. I think I forgot to start moving in one of these episodes.

Someone linked me a Moros that had been killed by rats, was quite a funny one.

Personally Ive lost Countless Dommys, and a few Ishtars over the years to the pesky rats.


When eve Kill was broken for a week a while back and was Pulling NPC losses and posting them was interesting to see how many 1+B losses to rats happened on a near daily basis.

Well....on another toon.

2 Abaddons
2 Paladins (one wasn't my fault )
1 Nightmare
2 Pilgrims (one was while trying to solo a C3 wormhole and got stuck on a structure)

The rest were due to arrogance and/or stupidity.

I've lost other ships but these are the ones that hurt...;-)

I would never tell anyone about this but, since Riot Girl is asking so nicely, here goes:

I tried to solo Ancient Temple, the drones complex in Caldari Cosmos, using a passive Nighthawk (back on the days when they were nice ships), could not count the amount of drones that aggroed me as soon I warped in the pocket but, for sure, was them all! Got scrambled, webbed by more than 10 and could not get rid of them in time to warp out and there goes a pimp Nighthawk.Oops

But that was not the worst part. Realizing that the wreck of my Nighthawk was full with my shiny officer mods, I docked in the station and grabbed a HUGE EHP passive Drake only to warp in, get the mods and warp out, fitted with stabs, OFC... Guess what? There goes the drake. Stabs were not enough to the number of scrambles.Oops

I was very mad, thinking how stupid I could be losing that 2 ships to NPC... well, not satisfied I jumped to Jita, bought and fit a new command ship, this time an Absolution and went there, again, in the hopes of taking my shiny mods back from that unscrupulous drones... Well, you can guess. Wreck was still there, but the rest of drones respawned in the time it took me to get the Absolution ready. Cry

I lived there, in Okkelen constellation, for some months, farming the plexes and the only thing that made me feel less stupid was seeing dozens of folks in every sub capital ship losing it in the 1st pocked of that same complex, just the 1st stage, when I was farming the archaeology in peace.

I don't know if CCP changed that Devil’s Dig Site as I don't go there for like 2 years, I think, but going there was almost the same, if not worst, as going to Rancer disco party, I swear.

If your balls are hurt and bleeding don't sit in a pool full of piranhas (note to myself: don't complain in GD)

oh, add one more Ishtar when after a year breakI came back to the game and warped into a escalation solo... *mighta been a good idea to read up on them.

I lost a couple barges early in my eve career from making the mistake of AFK mining but forgetting to launch my defense drones before tabbing out to watch youtubes or movies Cool

Dominix (nullsec officer spawn).... Noctis.... Tengu (scram/jam/web rats, all in the same mission??? SoE agents must hate me).... almost every T1 frig in the game, at least once, each. Thorax, Caracal, Catalyst.

That moment when you realize the crazy lady with all the cats was right...

I lost a Megathron in my very first own level 4 mission when I got stuck between an asteroid and some NPC structure and couldn't get out in time to warp off.

Very silly and stupid loss. :P

I once warped a battleship (think it was an armor 'phoon) away from a losing fight at exactly 80 structure. As usual, I warped to a belt near a dense cluster of celestials.

My ship was wasted by rats as soon as I landed.

Pre-odyssey exploration I lost about a heron a day in low sec radar/mag sites. Some of those cans (the ones INSIDE a hollow asteroid) were death traps if you failed the hack and rats spawned, especially if the initial rats were also still pounding your ass.

This was a known and calculated risk I ran though, profits were more than sufficient to compensate.

some EVE Radio listener I know lost 20 kronos to lvl 4s and will probably continue to lose them in the future.

Lost a Talos and a mobile tractor unit with all my loot to a NPC Tower sentry Serpentis III on L3 Mission in High sec of course with a little help of a player who warped in my mission stealing my loot! Puny pesky slasher warp web scrambled me and drained out my capacitor will I did snipe from afar...Roll
