Can some one explain the 50 dollar difference (40 up font and 10 additional rebate) between

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127722

and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125418

Besides a slight difference in core clock. Is 50Mhz worth 50 dollars when were comparing 1050 and 1100MHz?
I am an ignorant fool when it comes to this, so please help me out. Trying to get the most for every dollar I put into the comp.
Is there a huge difference between MSI and Gigabyte in quality?

Thanks

Also, if anyone is using either card, give me an eve oriented review. Graphics settings, number of clients, number of monitors, extra applications running simultaneously.

2 fans and 3 fans, the tripple fan card could potentially overclock better.

Not a super fan of MSI or Gigabyte quality.

I would just like to add that a GTX 660 would be comparable Nvidia product for your price range. It will run two monitors with a client each quite easily.

The Asus card is also super quiet and runs cool if thats any concern. I for one can't stand a noisy computer and the Asus cards are the only ones that I have found to be acceptable. Quality seems to be on the top of anything I have used.

I agree about MSI or Gigabyte. However, I've had great success with XFX cards.

Of the two cards you linked the Gigabyte is the better card it has there "Windforce" cooler on it which runs cooler and quitter (under load) then most other coolers. So I would say it's definitely worth the premium price over the MSI for that reason alone.

ASUS cards are my favourite and hands down the best in my opinion...but that is not what you were asking Big smile
