What ships have you lost to NPC rats?

I lost a nano fit Executioner on a null sec gate when an Angel BS rat OHKO'd me.
I lost a Manticore to Blood Raider rats.
I lost a Hawk running The Blockade.

It's pretty embarrassing to lose a ship to rats, I don't know why I'd admit to it on this forum and yet I have a strong feeling that some of you have had far more embarrassing losses than my few little frigates. Now you must admit to your failures so everyone can discredit the validity of your opinions on GD based on how much ISK you have lost to rats.

I lost my first merlin in that tutorial mission where that SB blew up in my face.

Recently lost a drake to WC, when I had more or less fallen asleep..
Almost lost a drake to The Blockade when I was up against blood raiders instead of my usual enemies the serpentis..
Almost lost my Stratios on it's maiden voyage when doing a ghost site, and it exploded in my face.

Silliest loss I've had was doing damsel in distress and being too close to the pleasure hub when it exploded..

Lost a CNR to a level 4. Hadn't looked up the mission, scrammed and popped. Suffice to say lesson learnt.

Two NPC losses I remember were both Raven deaths.

My first raven, dying in the lvl 4 mission *The Informant/thief* that mission with a crapton of scrambling frigs. Was among my first lvl 4 missions. Learned the value of *Don't fly ships you can't afford to loose* Took me a hile to grind up enough isk for a new BS after that debacle...

My second Raven, died to the Nation NPC battlefleet because I got called primary by the dev during the Kamio encounter. Not embarassing but an awesome way to go! (footage of the Uedama attack, to have an idea what melted my raven)

Also a bunch of ibises lost to Navy Police when I was an outlaw and needed stuff from high.

Lost a pre-Rubicon T2 fit Vargur to mission rats in Enemies Abound lvl 4. Those Gallente Navy ships put out a lot of dps, and my stupid battleship got stuck on a structure and wouldn't warp out.

An Incursus in an L1, before I could fly destroyers, long before a dual-rep Inky made sense.

I lost a Malediction the other day in a ghost site. I didn't know how much damage to expect, although I figured if it blew up I'd probably lose the ship. Interceptors are cheap anyway.

Very early on in my EVE career I lost several Coercers, Mallers, and Punishers to various NPCs.

Haven't lost anything bigger or more expensive than T1 cruisers to NPCs though.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

Tengu. After I had previously warped out while in armor. I warped back in and was bukkai frigate webbed/scrammed again. There's a lesson in there, something related to arrogance and the omnipotence of the Tengu.

Golem. Disconnect in a storyline mission. I reconnected in time to see enjoy seeing my Golem pop. Note to self: the instant the client stops responding, kill it and reconnect immediately.

My first BC , I was so excited to get into my Harby, thought I was gonna own those NPC's in my new shiny ship. EVE survival is your friend is the morale of that story.

Venture to a Gurista beacon. Ok, a friend did something that caused it to explode (can't remember what), but it was my Venture that died. A beacon might not technically be a rat, but... well, I think it does fit the bill for the purposes of this thread. That was both embarrassing, but also funny. I laughed a lot.

I almost lost a Drake by getting stuck on a LCO, and my Merlin to that stupid tutorial mission. I also lost a Noctis to a ganker when I got a phone call. That's like losing a ship to NPCs that have no AI so that should count.

Does losing a fight with another player because gate rats jammed you count?

A long time ago, on an entirely different character, I lost a faction battleship because my dog was choking on something, and I was afk long enough for the rats to catch me and kill me.

Thank goodness I was in an NPC corp at the time, or I would have expected to find myself in one fairly shortly.

Hmmmm...

Back when I did high-sec mission running I lost...

- an Ishtar (I WAS WEBBED!)
- a Dominix (over aggro'ed and undertanked)
- a Megathron (hmmm... drones all dead, am scrammed, new aggro waves incoming... this ain't good)
- an Abaddon (I learned why you don't fit smartbombs in high-sec)
- A Vexor (I was young... I didn't know that hull tanking wasn't a "thing")

I'm sure there were a few others... but those are the only ones I can remember.

edit:
Look through my death history I have additionally lost...

- a PvP-fit Maller to a low-sec NPC Incursion gatecamp (KUVAKIIEEEEE!!!!! *shakes fist*).
- Stealth Bomber to a FW mission (oops... I zigged when I should have zagged).
- a Noctis to a level 5 mission (random spawn after everything was dead).

I once locked myself out of my house when I stepped outside to pay for a pizza I ordered. My computer happened to be visable from a downstairs window, so I got to watch as my drones slowly chewed through targets until they triggered the next wave. My one roommate got back as I entered armor, and I got back to my PC just as my multi-billion isk CNR popped.

Nothing good dropped either :(

Lost a Tengu once to a combination of Cosmos complex rats and Netflix.

Didn't realize they could actually hurt me because Tengu, flipped to netflix while my codebreaker cycled on a can, flipped back and saw I was webbed/scrammed/in armor. Oops

I am reasonably sure that Netflix has the best killboard in the game.
