So I bought an abaddon back in the day, and I finally got enough standing to do lvl4s, just wondering, people say that you need good skills to use an Abaddon. wondering if I have enough?

Not even close. Use an Apoc.

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

Never forget.

You can try contracts, you can usually get a decent price for the rigs if you're not in a rush to sell it. Also assuming you didn't fit crap rigs on it.

If thats the case you'd probably have to ditch the rigs, at least ask around in local first if anyone is interested.

If that's the case you may be about to break the cardinal rule of EVE because it sounds like you can't afford to lose the Apoc. If you're in high sec you'll probably be fine as your Apoc will be uninteresting as long as you don't faction fit it and then link your fit in local to ask if it's decent.

Until you can afford another:

- If you are unlucky enough to have someone invade your mission don't attack them for any reason, the loot is almost certainly not worth your ship, make them suicide if they must have the kill.
- Make absolutely sure you know what you're doing and that you can tank a mission before going in.
- Don't be lazy and fit an omni resist tank.
- Fit hardners appropriate to the mission, it takes only a few seconds to swap them between missions. (You can even use the saved fitting templates to fit for each rat type then just keep the hardners in your hangar and swap by pushing a button...easy)
- Read up on the mission triggers, control your aggro and your drones and you'll be fine.

Good luck out there.

Reality has an almost infinite capacity to resist oversimplification.

MJD is absolutely recommended for low skilled-pilots. It's the "I Escape" - Button. Make use of it, atleast aslong as you can't afford a replacement for your ship.

Microjumpdrive is a solid yes from my corpmates and I, saved my ass WAAAAAAY more than I'd care to admit.
It cycles faster if you say " go go gadget get the **** out of here" in my experience.

I'll switch out your rigs for T2 versions at no cost. Keep the abaddon, I'll throw in some goodies to make you own the missions with it starting today.

Contract it over to me and I'll take care of you. By the way, I do caldari Navy level 4's near Jita, so I'd be happy to show you first hand that you can do this just fine, and I'll bring armor reps to put your mind at ease.

Corp Recruitment Specialist- now for hire! For a small fee, I will grow your corp, using all the secrets I have learned in powerful nullsec alliances that they don't want you to know about!  Beware jelly haters who will contact you with vicious lies!  They just want to keep these secrets to themselves!

I did level fours with 2m SP in an Abaddon in 2006. The people here are crazy. You're more than fine if you research the mission ahead of time and don't make multiple stupid mistakes. These days MJD will get you out of anything. Cap is easy to deal with if you're willing to run with only having 1 or 2 damage/range mods, overloading on the cap mods, and slowboating to gates when necessary. You have T2 large guns and T2 EANMs and hardeners available, you can go through level fours easily. Two accomodation reps, EM/Therm hardeners, (stick to EM/Therm rats) 1 Heat Sink, 2 CPRs, MJD, three cap rechargers, three large CCC Is. That's 700 EM/Therm DPS tanked which is more than enough.
