simple idea.. let it use missles too (as is the caldari way) more bonused for RMHL and Torp (not cruise as golem can use those) reload time for RMHL, velocity and explosive rad/velocity for torps and to save lag.. maybe limit to 4 missle bays but +100% dmg so you may not have to buff the cpu which could make turret ones more op?

I probably would have liked this idea if it was presented better, but that's not the case. The Caldari are meant to have a mixed selection of ships capable of being either missile or hybrid platforms. I can't think of a single one that can effectively switch between guns and missiles like certain older versions of certain Minmatar ships. I would much rather see a new platform rather than the current platform being retooled.

I would support letting the naga have eight missile hardpoints, but only with fitting bonuses and without damage or application bonuses.

Uh...

Naga's are pretty sweet actually. Ever try Javelin ammo w/ 425's? Cranks some DPS and the range isn't terrible. Sure its not a Sniper with the lowered range from Javelin, but 800 dps or so at 69km falloff is pretty damn effective in the right situation. And with only a 5 second reload you can start with using faction antimatter. Not sure what dps and range is that way, or if my other ones are completely accurate... currently in a WH without my Naga

Although an 8 large launcher hardpoint BC akin to the other tier 3's would be sweet too. I think the best bet is another hull rather than changing a ship that is pretty damn effective as is.

its not a mix as such though it seems there is nerf after nerf for missles, soon enough ccp will be changing the ships to only be turret based, as for my presentation.. Meh i was merely presenting an idea, i know people could crunch the numbers easily

what about just reload bonus for RHMLs? and perhaps a little range so it can be the theoretical blasters to the talos so to speak.

The naga was originally a missile boat, it was terrible. The current one is well used and well balanced. Why fix what isn't broken?

Oh so your talking about adding 4 extra bonuses to one of the ships in a class but not to the other 3 races?

I'm tired of seeing this suggestion; it adds nothing new to the game and it smacks of "bluh bluh I am entitled Caldari missionbear who only trained missiles what are hybrid turrets what do you mean hybrid turrets are also a Caldari racial weapon system why do I have to train those".

Just remember, the Minmatar need to train both shield and armor tanking... As well as projectiles and missiles, in order to use their entire ship lineup.

You forgot about drones, prop mods for the speed-tanked ships, target painters, AWU 5 being a requirement...
