it's almost as if the siren's song of "supers tackled" attracts a massive amount of people to a single system and sets the node on fire

Ignoring the pubbie cries that this is all "one sides fault" fountain performed far better than this CCP there is clearly a problem and it needs to be seriously prioritised or this is going to be every single fight of this war. The very idea of full super escalation right now compares to just randomly throwing some dice on the floor and thats not going to sound too great in a news article if it all kicks off.

If you could share some info on it that would be very much appreciated or at the very least let us know that you're doing something about it.

Every time supers escape due to a busted back-end, wrong is done. The side doesn't really matter, goon supers are just as horrible as n3/pl supers, so frankly i'm pretty mad our super pilots escaped in their space coffins~

CCP Veritas posted in another thread that this was indeed a server issue and it's being looked into.

If it's not possible to do these kinds of fights in EVE then the entire concept of EVE null isn't worth anything. So by complaining about it we are trying to make ccp better things which actually are broken since the beginning.

maybe put all efforts to make eve 'multi threaded' in stead of making expansions with new content

Well the process could do with being streamlined. For example, bounties and killrights. The client still fetches these during massive tidi lagfest battles. Why? Nobody needs them. Yet I wonder how much server load is generated when 1000 people try to fetch the bounties and killrights of 999 other people each.

There's also security status, etc. None of these have any effect on a battle in nullsec.
