Bounty Contracts

Despite several attempts to fix bounty hunting, it seems to have gone down hill.

Sometimes, it would be nice to hire a specific person or corporation to hunt down somebody. It could be either a private or public contract.

1. The person accepting the contract would have to pay a fee, that he would lose if he fails to complete the contract.

2. The person accepting the contract will have kill rights for the duration of the contract.

3. Bounty Contracts can't be placed on Trial or accounts less than 3 months old.

This will get people actively looking for specific players, and will truly start a bounty hunting following.

No, it will just mean that you can attack anybody in highsec without any repercussions by placing a contract on them by your alt.

good idea but what if you place a private bounty, that only the people who accept the contract can get it at a higher rate then it is now, like 50% not 25% but only if they drop a war deck, this will help with low sec pvper know that there being hunt and can't come to high sec, unless they want a fight. Not only that the contract doesn't sent a target to the about the contract, just the war deck.

And maybe if there is no contract and you war dec somebody who has a normal bounty, get a higher rate like 35%

but most importantly they should make it easier to find people with bounty's, the bounty broad is ****, only showing top few, maybe add a agent that list a few bounty in your area. maybe?

sorry for par grammar and if it make no sense just ask :P

I think if they had to pay a fee, just to create the contract, and it can't be grabbed for at least 3 hours, and it automatically list for everybody to see at that time.

The fee should be rather high, enough to motivate people not to assign it to an alt.

Maybe the contract can ONLY be public.

Bounty hunting, eh? Just needs two things:

1) Killing some one, gives you 100% of the bounty placed.
2) Perma-death.

As long as people fly multi-billion ISK ships in highsec, there is no fee high enough to prevent abuse and at the same time keep it reasonable for an average player to place a bounty on someone.
