Warp-to-Wormhole behavior...

So, hmmm, if the WH has less than 50% of its mass left and someone warps to the WH (grid), you could see the entrance shaking. Interesting....

This only happens If someone warps from the same system; warping to the WH from the other side cause no effect.

Nifty. Perhaps there is a tie-in with ghost sites and the new region? Maybe if you were to jump into the wormhole real fast as it shrinks you'll end up in the new region!

Well, it would pulse before the patch, and I can't seem to replicate what you guys are saying. However, some alliance mates are saying they have a new wormhole sound, but I only have the old one except really quiet. Odd bug.

As for the Sound I've heard that from our guys as well. I have yet to test the sound out myself. but it now seems you actually have to have your eyes on the hole rather than sound.

Not sure if intended, but yeah. Will check tonight

I still reckon it leads to the new region. You ought to run more tests and see what shows up.

What system did this happen in, I've seen it happen as well so I think they must have changed the mechanics. Silent changes by CCP?

Running with all graphic settings set to low btw

Also, when jumping to another WH system, half screen has the coloring of the new system while the other half has the color of the previous one.

we ran into this last night .. if you warp to a reduced or critical hole you actually see a shudder or pulse on the back side ( the k162 ) when you initiated warp. If this is not a bug its going to make watching and trapping scouts a lot easier as you will have warning when they have warped to the other side of the k162

We have seen this as well in our C2 (c1/hisec statics).

Also at least 80% of the time a scout sitting on a wh hears no sound at all when someone jumps.

We saw this last night. It looked like the phase change animation that you see when a hole changes from healthy to reduced. It was observed to happen whenever a warp was initiated to the hole provided the hole was reduced and the warp was in the same system as the observor watching the hole. Warps to the hole on the other side did not show the tell. The animation was seen even if the warp was cancelled with a ctrl-space.

I can confirm this, I live in a C4 and the same thing happened when we were closing our static, looks like someone coming through the hole (freaked us out).

Then we realized it was whenever someone warped to the hole.

The Crit/destab "wobbly effect" is gone, but it happends when someone warps to it..

Feels a bit like CCP forgot to put repeat on the "wobbly" effect, it activates when someone lands on grid, but it doesn't keep running.. Kinda a pita since you can't see if the WH is destab/crit except for the few sec's when you land on grid. - same goes for the sound effects btw.

my corp noticed this today as well. we live in a c5 and noticed it when warping to the the static (C5). at first we were confused that it was someone from the other side jumping. but after a long time no one uncloaked.

did they really change the animation so that everytime someone starts warp to the hole you see the animation?

looks like when the hole is reduced and somebody from your fleet initiates warp to the hole the animation for further mass depletion activates. If somebody not in your fleet warps to the hole you do not see the animation at all.

Also my sound is still borked for wormhole activation, I have to look at the wormhole and zoom right in to hear any sound at all.
