CCP ignores test server feedback; Malediction unusably unbalanced

It's not art, it's physics and moving one hardpoint around. With 4 high slots, the Malediction could put its launchers in slots 1, 3, and 4 in order to be a symmetrical sleek tackle machine. Now it's an unflyable abomination of Caldari proportions -- except without the built-in considerations for practicality that the Caldari have.

It was good that you informed us of that, since it's been quite impossible to figure out from your previous posts.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

Lack of aerodynamics is hardly a concern in space, however see what you're saying.

Same deal with the crow. You have to move go [launcher] [launcher] [empty] [launcher] or most of the launcher are on one side

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Agreed, looks dumb, i hope the first thing fired out of my Mal's rocket launcher was the damn mechanic who hooked up the rocket pods

Hopefully the OP was kidding when he said "unusable".

It does look pretty bad. I was planning to make a post on the issue, myself.

It would be appreciated if the hardpoints could be adjusted so that we can have balanced maledictions, for those of us who care about how are ships look. (Amarr more than most I think. We have pride in our golden hulls.)

It's an amarr thing, look at the retribution. It's a beautiful ship, IMO one of the best looking frigates in the game.

But when you fit it, it looks like a sex toy with warts.

Tell me again about how every playstyle you dont engage in "doesn't require any effort" and everyone who does it needs to die in a fire. Be sure to mention about how you tried it once but it was too easy/boring/ethnic-homophobic slur.

don't panic, I am sure they will fix the off-hardpoint Soon (TM)... Geddon and Harbi pilots are well used to this sort of thing.

They have fixed both of those ships, either by making guns unnecessary (Armageddon) or by reducing the number of guns to an even, symmetrical 6 (Harbinger).

It's a little more critical with the Malediction, though, since its weapons are relatively so much bigger, making it look all the more awful.

Maybe I am too dumb to get it, but the Malediction in your picture has 2 rocket launchers on either side. One may be on the top and the other at the bottom, yet from a strictly axially symmetric point of view this ship looks balanced to me.

A friend of my daughter was at the house and saw me playing Eve. Turns out he plays it as well and was shocked to see my screen.

You see, graphics/seeing the environment around you is PURELY optional. It is not needed and, in fact, makes you play less than optimal. Many times have alliance-mates been snagged. When I ask why they weren't watching local it turns out they don't have the local chat in the middle of the screen! WTH!? WHy not? "Because it obscures my view of the game", they reply.

You IDIOT! The local screen is part of the game! The pretty pictures of the stars, ships etc are just fluff and not really part of the game.

OP you shouldn't even know what the ships LOOK LIKE let alone complain about their graphics! :)

Once you have several large monitors, it gets quite hard to make all the windows big enough that you don't notice ships. It's then that you get confronted with the ugly, ugly reality: Eve ships lack any sort of balance.
