hello

i have troubles reporting bugs

1- reported bugs doesn't give ay bug ID
2- no way to find previously reported bugs to edit / add information / files
3- reporting a bug using http://community.eveonline.com/support/submit-bug-report/ often lead to page reinitialising upon pressing submit, failed upload of files (doesn't even try) or clicking "submit button" result in error 500 page

Hi Seth,

To answer your questions,

1. The new bug report system does not give out the bug report ID currently, this is by design.
2. The ability to edit/add information on previously reported issues is functionality we hope to implement next year.
3. I'm afraid I cannot reproduce these issues after trying several times, I will pass this information onto our web team for further analysis.

hi and thx for the answer CCP Vertex,

the #2 is crucial since it really is important to update previous bug reports, i often like to add videos / logs etc... that are not always possible / available at the moment of the bug report creation,and cannot be added using ingame tool.

maybe just sending a mail with a summary of the report and the ability to answer said mail with more content would be helpfull, being a bug reported / tracker myself, the more info / repro steps available, the easier it is to narrow down and reproduce the issue Big smile

So, you're saying that we can no longer track progress of bug reports? :(
