"This week in EVE" is a weekly overview of EVE Online related news and events and shows what is going on in EVE Online. The focus of this overview is on official news from CCP: For example, dev blogs and important forum posts by CCP developers, the ever evolving background story and upcoming events.   • Patch notes for EVE Online: Rubicon
    • Patch notes for EVE Online: Rubicon are released. Check them to see in detail what all has improved and added!

  • EVE Server status messages on Twitter
    • The EVE server status notifications on Twitter will move on December 1st from @EveOnline to @EVE_status to keep messaging regarding the server clear and concise, and to ensure it does not get mixed together with general news regarding EVE.

  • Cybernetic arm as part of the CCP Mystery Code
    • All CCP Mystery Code holders are now eligible for the new "F-706.574 'Phanca' Cybernetic Arm". Simply go to the Voucher Center and claim your cybernetic arm there!

  • CCP.exe keeps crashing?
    • CCP Snorlax offers some first aid in case that the CCP.exe keeps crashing. Make sure that you have the latest graphic drivers installed, disable all overlay software and switch to DirectX9 in the EVE Launcher. Fixes are in work!

  • More details about warp speed
    • CCP Masterplan offers further insight to the new warp acceleration mechanics.

  • Scamming the PLEX for GOOD is strictly forbidden
    • We would like to remind everyone that any scams related to the PLEX for GOOD are strictly forbidden and will result in swift and harsh consequences.

    Background story and in-game news
    • Pirate factions express interest in Covert Research Tools
      • Some pirate factions in New Eden, namely the Angel Cartel, Blood Raiders, Guristas, Intaki Syndicate, and Serpentis, show interest in covert research tools found in the Ghost Sites.

    • Clashes on Caldari Prime quelled by Mordu's Legion
      • Several clashes occurred along borders between Gallente- and Caldari-held districts on Caldari Prime over the weekend, but were swiftly dealt with by Mordu's Legion. Administrative officials for the districts were quick to praise Mordu's Legion for their handling of the situation.

    • Capsuleers Rally to Aid Destruction of Covert Research Facilities
      • Capsuleers residing in Empire space took up arms in an attempt to eradicate newly discovered Serpentis and Angel research facilities located within the depths of Syndicate and Curse. After vicious battles the more than 650 pilots were defeated as pirate defense forces proved too adept and bought time to recover their research projects and to evacuate the scientists.

    Still not doing anything noteworthy about fixing POS's

    Also not Fixing Corp Roles

    Or rebalancing ASB

    Or letting us choose to turn off clouds

    Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.
