For the love of god is there a way to turn off auto creation of rookie ships when I dock in a pod?

If its all ready a feature, someone let me know! If not +1 to my wishlist.

Thanks,

I'm not sure I agree with this one, Ibises are very useful for lighting cynos.

Never said you have to remove the feature, just let me turn it off so my asset list is not field with 300 crap ships I have to delete.

I think he means that there should still be a way to spawn rookie ships. Just that it doesn't happen automatically.

I'm thinking a spawn rookie ship button. That way:
- No annoyance from ships spawning because you docked your pod
- You can still spawn them as wanted.
- You can spawn one even if you have ships in the current station.
- (Optional) You can choose which rookie ship to spawn.

Lowering the average to make you look better since 2012.

ok, if it means i can spawn a rookie ship while having a ship in hangar already, then I'm ok with that.

also, if you use the feature to double up on civilian guns for the early tutorial missions, they go much faster.

Right, its a feature that is easy enough to use that it cant be abused any easier if you just have a "Ask for rookie ship" button in station.

And its simple enough I think, to code in an option to turn off the creation of rookie ships.

If you turned it off... then you know how to turn it back on, so there really does not even need to be any additional buttons or functions to add.

Instead of throwing piles of scrap metal at you, how about a popup window.

"Pend Insurance company has determined you have no ships currently at this station. To assist you in your career, we offer you one newly-fitted Ibis, free of charge. Do you want to accept?

Yes / No / Don't ask me again."

Do you even post on your main?

If not what's the reason?

You were slamming my previous main (who I sold) wowyouareacow in the thread I made, yet your killboard is minimal.

oO, this is a very good idea, I like it!

I have shuttles everywhere I go frequently on all my alts so as not to spawn the stupid rookie ship all the time :P
